I really cannot stand Opera and when someone sent me a link to see this overweight, timid, plain looking man sing I wanted to just delete it. But the person who sent me the email said I would not regret watching it. I was completely caught unaware. I watched the performance and the reactions from the audience and judges and I actually started tearing up. For heaven’s sake, I don’t get all emotional over someone singing! It was truly incredible, almost miraculous. I had chills going down my spine. Now, if I am feeling down I just go watch this video for a nice pick-me-up. Astounding.

Paul Potts is one of best classical singers in world to day.
He has not gone to conservatorieas like others, so he is not well trained, but the timbre of this man is sheer talent.
Getting better all the time.

33 million plus on the Cardiff audition alone. Phenomenal! This has to be a Guinness Book of World Records record. Paul Potts is so inspirational. I see comments about how many people watch this video several times a day, a week, a month. That’s me. I start and end my day with it.

This clip makes me teary-eyed every time I see it. I think the reason it is so widely viewed is not only Paul’s talent, but the visible reaction he gets from the audience & judges. They’re so genuinely surprised and pleased. It’s refreshing to see something that seems so real in comparison to so much manufactured TV these days.

Where are the words to describe the beauty of this man and his gift for inspiration and solace? His presence is dignified and graceful in all respects and he has such an air of power and strength that raises him up above all those that surround him. I love to engulf his persona ever since I have seen and heard what he has to offer the universe.
