Britain’s Got Talent judge Piers Morgan will reportedly earn a whopping £40,000 for conducting an interview with Nelson Mandela.

The former newspaper editor will present ‘Message of Hope,’ an ITV show celebrating the 20th anniversary of Mandela being released from his South African jail cell.

An ITV insider told The News Of The World: “It is an enormous coup.

“Yes, Piers is earning a lot of money for what most would see as an honour, but he is the best man for the job.”

Piers has previously interviewed Gordon Brown for his Life Stories series and is reportedly in talks about launching the show in America next year.
