Piers Morgan has revealed that he refused to wait for Lady Gaga when she was late for an interview with him.

The Britain’s Got Talent judge told the Daily Mail that he refused to waste his holiday time waiting about for the ‘Poker Face’ singer.

Morgan said: “Taking half a day off my holiday to interview the ludicrously named Lady GaGa, only to discover that the little madam had stood me up.

“When will she deign to be here?’ I asked her hapless PR man from Polydor Records, who had confirmed at least ten times in the previous week that she would arrive at the agreed time. [He said:] ‘Erm, I’m not sure – at least an hour, maybe two…’”

Morgan added: “‘Goodbye,’ I replied. I’d wait for Mandela, the Queen, the Pope and Freddie Flintoff. But not for someone called GaGa.”
