Amanda Holden is claiming that even royalty love her ITV TV show Britain’s Got Talent.

Holden, who sits on the judging panel of the show claims that Prince Charles spoke to her about the show whilst they both attended ‘We Are Most Amused’, a variety show which celebrated his 60th birthday last year.

Holden told the Daily Record: “Prince Charles got to me in the line-up and said: ‘Oh yes, we watch the show, you’ve got the buzzers’.

“I said: ‘If you came on our show, what would you do, can you juggle?’ He said: ‘Oh no, I’m not talented, I can’t do anything’.”

I somehow doubt that the Prince really is glued to his screen every night the show airs, drawn in by the child singers and fire jugglers. It is more likely, in my opinion, that he has advisers that try to keep him abreast of all things current, so that His Majesty can at least try to appear ‘down with the kids’ and in tune with the masses.
