Shaheen Jafargholi has admitted that he is nervous to be singing at Michael Jackson’s memorial service today.

Jafargholi told The Sun: “Michael was a huge inspiration to me. I’m nervous, but I’m honoured and privileged to have been invited to perform here.”

A source said: “Michael saw a clip from Britain’s Got Talent on YouTube. He thought it was fantastic and was even considering getting him on stage to perform with him at some of his O2 shows later this year.”

Simon Cowell said: “It’s an incredible honour for Shaheen. Michael was his idol. We’re so proud of him.”

Amanda Holden added: “Shaheen has a truly remarkable voice. I have no doubt Michael Jackson would have loved that he’s there.”

There is something very very ironic about a man who claims his life was ruined by being a child star requesting a 13 year old to accompany him on tour and ultimately sing at his funeral.
