Simon Cowell drops George Samspon

George Sampson has reportedly been dropped by Simon Cowell. Sources claim its because he isn’t marketable but I imagine his public slating of Cowell last week didn’t help his case any.
A source told The Daily Mail: “George just didn’t prove as marketable as Simon had hoped.
“When acts like George win the show, it’s much harder for them to forge a successful and moneyspinning career compared with a singer, like Susan Boyle.”
Sampson recently blasted Cowell and claimed that he owed money to Syco despite a top selling DVD.
However, a Syco spokeswoman replied: “There is never a case where artists owe money and nor do marketing or promotion costs come from their percentage. In addition they also get an advance on projects.”
So Sampson’s lying then? What a shocker!

I am not surprised at all, George was not as amazing as he
thought he was, he may have been a good amateur dancer but
when he was on stage in Hoods with professional dancers they
were much better than him and it showed.
His DVD was not that much of a top seller anyway and George
got far too big for his boots and both him and his mum seemed
to forget about the fans that put him where he was.
That is bullshit.
I’m sorry but once again, Reality TV has picked up on false rumours about George Sampson. Seriously, everything you have put about him on this site has been nasty and if you go to the really personal information about them like their twitter or something, you’ll find it is completely incoherent to the tabloids.
This is getting really nasty on Unreality TV’s behalf, the past few things you have put about him on here have been nasty and untrue, just tabloid gossip.
And since these stories have been untrue, I’ll just say “If you haven’t got anything nice to say, don’t say it all”.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion and thats good and what
makes posts interesting to read because we all think
differently about things/people. You obviously like George
and are a fan and thats fine but I don’t like him and I’m not
impressed with his dancing and that should be fine as well.
People should be free to have different views and express
them, just because I don’t like George Sampson I wouldn’t say
that anyone who likes him cannot say something nice about him
as we are all free to have an opinion.
Hello Fliss,
If you re-read the above editorial again, you will discover that there is nothing disreputable being said about George Sampson that has not already been reported in the press.
Also if you pop over to the forum you will find some extremely positive thoughts and opinions of Goeroge Sampson the dancer in our BGT threads.
Unreality TV is the friendliest forum on the net, but it is understandable that sometimes we get very young posters on board who may say things without giving it much thought.
Getting back to Goeroge, you know I like George Sampson, I thought he was a very impressionable dancer in the year he won BGT. For me as a singer he has simply not got an above average voice. So I don’t believe that stating an honest opinion is in anyway indicative of being nasty and neither is it defamatory, after all – it is just my opinion!
