I do wonder how Ms. Holden justifies being on the show. Sure, she's pretty but she's also so over-the-top with her praise and unoriginal in her comment that she really just makes up the numbers most of the time.
She has also shown herself to be extremely hypocritical on several occasions- the latest of which being in tonight's semi-final when she gushed over young Mogli (Callum) saying that he would make it through to the final or "they'll have me to deal with"... and then promptly doesn't vote him through!

However, the greatest example has to be her truely spectacular claim that Jamie Pugh wasn't being genuine - pot calling the kettle black... it doesn't take a body-language expert to point out the quite obvious inspiration and emotion that Jamie's audition stirred up in her. The camera cuts to her twice and it is clear to see that the inspirational and emotive effect he had on the rest of the watching world was also in evidence with her. Perhaps the botox has confused the nervous response between her brain and her facial muscles such that when she "hated his voice" it registered on her face as utter amazement and stunned joy.
And whilst we are on that subject perhaps Ms. Holden should watch that audition back again to witness the point I'm making about herself but also to see for herself how wrong she was to make those comments to the press - the guy's body language says it all and if that 'got on your tits' then it really doesn't say much about her ability for compassion.
Everyone takes a jibe at SImon because he is direct, honest and sometimes brutally (perhaps even unfairly) so. Piers either has moments of insanity or has very wierd taste in talent but the real let-down is Ms. Holden. If she can't think up her own opinion or give feedback without all the over-exageration and superlatives then she should not come back next year!
