Simon Cowell wants Cheryl Cole for Britain’s Got Talent 2012

Simon Cowell has admitted that he would love Cheryl Cole to join the Britain’s Got Talent judging panel.

It would seem that the music mogul hasn’t lost all faith in the former X Factor judge, even though he sacked her from his American series earlier this year.

Speaking to The Sun, Cowell confessed that he had originally planned for Cole to be a panellist on the ITV talent show, but ended up giving the job to Amanda Holden, because she got nervous and pulled out just days before the first series started.

He explained:

“Cheryl on BGT? That’s not a bad idea. That was the first show she was offered.

“She had cold feet with two days to go and that’s how we got Amanda Holden on the show.”

However he conceded that Chez is unlikely to work for him again, unless they make things up properly. The blonde beauty – who recently filmed a cameo appearance for a Hollywood blockbuster starring Cameron Diaz – still holds a grudge after her dismissal and Cowell said:

“We’ve got to start talking first. I don’t think we’ve fallen out. I’ve had one text. It’s between us what was said. She was p***** off, but she wished me well.”

We could actually see Cheryl fitting in well on the Britain’s Got Talent panel and how much would Michael McIntyre enjoy being flanked by two beauties? There may even be a free seat, now that insiders suggest David Hasselhoff has been sacked.
