Susan Boyle breaks down on American tour

Susan Boyle has been everywhere this week, first giving a show stopping performance on the X Factor, then wowing crowds of fans in New York.
Her debut album,I Dreamed a Dream is set to break multiple sales records, but it seems that the pressure may be starting to affect the Britain’s Got Talent singer.
Today The Daily Mail has reported that just after enjoying lunch with fans at the Rock Centre cafe in New York’s Rockefeller Centre, Susan broke down in tears and sobbed uncontrollably. She soon pulled herself together and did a funny jig for the cameras, but some fans think she may be struggling under the intense media spotlight.
A spokesman for Miss Boyle said: ‘She was just overjoyed and extremely touched with the reception she had had from everyone in America.’
Does that ring true to you? Leave your comments below.

[...] Nonsense repeated here Susan Boyle breaks down on American tour @ Unreality TV [...]
Yes, it rings true, because that is what the hundreds of fans at the lunch have written in comments all over the internet in response to this story.
As they’ve said, they gave Susan a quilt put together by over 100 fans from 28 countries. She became a bit teary because she was so touched and overwhelmed with the gift. There was no “uncontrolled” sobbing (and the Daily Mail didn’t even say that).
There are numerous photos supporting this point -including of her getting the quilt as a gift and laughing and enjoying the company of the fans for a couple of hours.
The fans who were there with her shed a few tears too–it was a very moving moment for everyone. Sometimes, as in this case, people cry for happiness==what a dumb thing to make it into a “breakdown!”
Rubbish!!! I would hardly call tears of happiness a breakdown. And it doesn’t just happen to women. Get a life!
Tears of joy following the gift of a quilt representing most of the world are ever so acceptable. Susan is a woman of empathy and feeling.
Why do the envious continue to beleaguer this magnificent woman?
Thank you, Susan, for showing us your inner self and for your appreciation of your loyal fans.
I WAS THERE and none of this happened. she met with a fan 1 on 1 and teared up after hearing how much we all love her and all the activities of the fan site. She left the cafe to go to the restroom to dry the tears, clean her face and she returned to the cafe less than 5 minutes later. By then ALL the fans were seated and Susan was presented a friendship quilt made by fans representing all states in America and 66 countries..it it a beautiful quilt and she was very touched. there was also a gentleman she had known all her life from Blackburn there. He was in full kilt ragalia. They spoke for some minutes and she teared up A LITTLE during this conversation. the quilt presentation took about 15 min. and she DID NOT cry at all..she was so happy, funny and enjoyed herself greatly. there WAS NO BREAKDOWN. During this I was about 4 feet away from Susan. After the quilt was given a group picture was taken and about 20 fans followed her out. NOT AT ANY TIME DID I SEE HER CRY UNCONTROLABLY That DID NOT HAPPEN AT ALL. These are sensational lies…wrong to spread such things without checking with the people who were actuallyu THERE..none of what you say happened at all……..
As a matter of fact, it does “ring true” because it is. Access Hollywood which started this ridiculous story and from whom those too lazy and inept took it to begin with has retracted their original story. It distorted and outright lied about a moment that was a loving tribute to Susan from her fans. There are close to a hundred eye-witnesses to what really happened.
Be assured, Susan is no longer fighting the bullies alone.
Surely they taught you better than this type of UNFOUNDED “sensational” journalism in school, Ms. McGarry! Your title is ridiculous! Had you taken the time to actually research the facts, you would have found just how far off the mark you are. Susan Boyle is a professonal through and through…but a professional with pure heart and soul. She showed the fans who had traveled cross country and much farther a deep appreciation for their efforts on her behalf. She was warm, gracious, kind and funny. It would ring true that ANYONE with depth of character would shed tears of joy when presented with such support and love.
