Britain’s Got Talent star Susan Boyle, has managed to score the biggest-selling album of the year.

In just four weeks the Scottish singer’s album has sold an amazing 1.4million copies.

Martin Talbot of the Official Charts Company said: “In just four weeks Susan Boyle has become the biggest album artist in the UK by some margin – an extraordinary achievement for an artist who was totally unknown until April.

“She has clearly connected with a massive proportion of the British population.”
