Britain’s Got Talent star Susan Boyle wants to buy her council house in Blackburn.

Boyle has lived in the same has lived in the semi-detached house since she was a baby but has never been able to afford a mortgage.

Her older brother Gerry told the Daily Record: “Susan walked into the local council office and told them that although she was living in London, she didn’t want them to rent her house to anyone else.

“I think people were a bit shocked to see her but they told her they had no plans to let it go to anyone else – and now she wants to buy it. She will never forget her roots.”

The sad thing about Susan’s decision is that even if she gets time off, she won’t be able to move into this house for the foreseeable future. She is just too big a star now and the media are hounding her, knowing that she may slip up, that she is not polished enough to say nothing, that she might let a great headline or photo opportunity happen through her naivety.
