Thursday’s Britains Got Talent Semi Final Lineup – Includes Julian Smith!
The fourth Britain’s Got Talent semi-final kicks off on Thursday night at 8.30pm on ITV1. The winning two acts will join Susan Boyle, Diversity, Flawless , Shaun Smith, Stavros Flatley and Shaheen Jafagholi in Saturday’s final.
The lineup for the night is:
Julian Smith – saxophone player
Two Grand - grandfather and granddaughter singing duo
Brit Chix - Musicians/singers
Fred Bowers – breakdancing OAP
Jackie Prescott and Tippy Toes – dog act
Sugarfree – dance troupe
Callum Francis – singer
Fabia Cerra – burlesque
My predictions for the evening are Julian Smith in first place with Two Grand and Callum Francis fighting for a place in the final. I’d love to hear your thoughts on how the acts will do below.

I agree that Julian will win out of this lot, and I really want him to win the whole thing, but I don’t think he will…please may I be wrong! If not Julian for the whole thing, I’d love to see Hollie Steel take it!
Well, as long as Stavros Flately don’t win, I’ll be happy. Ideally, I’d like Diversity or Flawless to win.
julian is a breath of fresh air something different hope he ends up a proffesional player 2grand i would love them in the final abit different too callum is too cheesey.julian i wish he could win it.
i thought hollie steel was in the line up but anyway julian will get through easily… i think fred bowers and callum francis might have a good shot. two grands are great but the song choice might be difficult for them as one is so young another is so old.
I am shocked at the choices made for the semi’s – a lot of good talent has been discarded in preference to some utterly disgusting crap! Something strange is going on.
I dont know why the judges are picking the second act to go through either, the public voted if they counted the votes then the one the public voted for should go through in 2nd place.
I dont even bother to watch it live, I record it and fast forward all the rubbish. Its rather enbarrassing to think the rest of the world should assume these offerings are the best of British talent.
If the other semi finals are anything to go by, so far it’s been a singer and a dance act that’s gone through every night, so to stick with the pattern, a singer and dancer should go through

I want Julian and two grand to go through and Julian to win.
Julian will go through easily out of this lot! He’s very talented and I would love to see him in the final.
As long as Holly Steel dosn’t get through I dont mind. She is very talented but there are so many stage-school kids like her out there!
Personally, I would like to see Stavros Flatly or Julian win. Stavros are hilarious, talented and for once, have an act that actually fits into ‘variety’! They are so different and funny! Its great!

I think either julian, 2 grand or callum francis should go through to the final. Stavros flatly are hilarious but my faves are Diversity…. DIVERSITY 4EVA!!!!!!!!!!!
Julian is amazing but I think the whole thing is fixed so even if no-one votes for Ms Boyle, she will win – unfortunately. Hope I’m wrong and Julian wins, the only other talent is Kieren Gaffney and he was dropped, I just would really like to know WHY ??
Your right, Kieren is the most amazing drummer and only 12, thats what I call talent ! I would also like to know why he didnt get in the semi finals when so much utter rubbish did. Does anyone know ?
I think that 2 grand should win that girl and that man really have talent and me being a musician i think that julian should get through but not be the fan favorite. Callum is cute he really is but its just that he is generic we hardly if ever see a grandpa and granddaughter who has a great voice … and also Julian who along with his saxophone has his story to help him get by.

I can narrow it down to the top 3- Julian Smith, Brit Chix and Callum Francis. But im not sure which two will go through as i think all of them are awesome!! x
Julian Smith is a very talented saxaphone player and I’m sure he’ll make the final.
Two grand are one of my favourite acts, I think they’ll be one of the groups fighting for a place in the final.
Brit chix are crap, they can’t sing. It sounds like they’re singing through their noses.
Fred Bowers, entertaining to watch but I don’t think he has a chance for the final – he’s also been exposed as a liar, claiming money for his ‘dodgy leg’ (Like Jamie Pugh with his ‘nerves getting the better of him’ when he’s played on the West End many times?).
I like the idea of a dog act, I think they could really entertain, and be one of my favourite acts on Thursday, but I don’t think they’ll be battling it out with Two Grand for a place in the final.
Sugar Free – If they’re any better than the hot honeyz then they’ve got my vote! I hope they do well, they have a chance of a place in the final in my eyes.
Callum Francis – I think we need to see more of him, a typical audition of an Oliver Twist song. It was brilliant, but I think we need to see more. I think he’ll most probably be fighting for survival along with Two Grand.
Last but not least, Fabia Cerra. I think this kind of act is only entertaining once. What more can she do? I think it will be entertaining but not enough to qualify for the final.
In conclusion, I think Julian Smith will win the viewer’s vote and Two Grand and Callum Francis/Sugar Free will be up against the judges. But I think Two Grand will go through.
Brit Chix are terrible, I think Keiran the drummer should’ve gone through instead of them, and the likes of Darth Jackson, Kay and Jamie Pugh (Cough, Liar, Cough)
Shaheen to win! Although Susan is favourite, I’d love her to be overturned and for Shaheen to win. He deserves it, she’s got enough fame now even without the show. She’d be signed by a record company regardless to her position at the final.
Julian is soooo good! Realy hope he does well, he deserves it. Would love to see him win the whole thing. Can’t wait to hear what he will play tomorrow. Good luck Julian!! X

They have okay voices, but i dont think the act Two grand is right…
Julian has REAL talent, playing a sax like that requires skill!!
Calum is good but there are many more talented child singers out there, just think of the gavroches and olivers in the west end already.
Brit chix are different, play their own instruments and i think they will be better once we see more of them :]

Sugar Free are just as good as the boys – unfortunately their audition wasn’t shown because of copyright issues with the music – people will change their mind about two grand once they’ve seen them. Julian and Sugar Free in a different class to the otehr tonight.

i think that julian should go through, hes the only decent talent put through that doesnt sing or dance. i think the judges picks are a joke, they left out good talent like the syncronised soccer skills and the drummer in favour of ridiculous acts lyk darth jackson and nick hell! ABSOLUTE JOKE! also i really dont think susan boyle should win, shes made it, and not because shes an amazing singer, because shes ugly. shaheen and shaun smith are better singers that will sell more record cause u dont have 2 look at them to be impressed with their vocals.

Susan Boyle is only entertaining because of her looks, you’re right. And only older folk want to buy that kind of music anyway. Whatever her position is in the final, she will be signed by a record company anyway, which I think is a great shame.
Shaheen and Shaun Smith have a huge amount of talent. I think it would be really, really amazing… if Shaheen won. And apparently Susan swore at the TV when Piers Morgan praised Shaheen saying he was ‘the best singing act he’d seen on the semi’s’

Susan Boyle- arrogant, snobbish and only made it coz she’s ugly. Doesn’t deserve to win it, nor Shaun Smith, should have gone on X Factor.
Julian Smith all the way, someone with some real talent for a change. Please God don’t let the winner be another bloody Urban dance group, so you practise a few hand gestures *yawn* thats not talent. And this isnt Pop Idol so enough with the singers.
I dont know anyone that likes Susan Boyle, and everyone I asked didnt vote for her. I’m an oldy and I certainly dont like her singing or her looks or her personality.
I hope Julian wins, thats talent. In any case anyone with real talent will get spotted for being seen on the show.
The singers should be on the X factor. The little drummer boy was talented but the judges prefered to put sicko’s in instead. I dont think the judges should be taking part in the semi’s – we dont need them buzzing, we want to watch the acts as we are supposed to be choosing the final lineup –hmm
Simon Cowell- should be taken off the judging panel. He doesn’t know anything about talent if its not a singer. GET HIM OFF!!
I totally agree. The great performance tonight is going to be Julian Smith. I just hope he can pick up a song as good as the one from the audition.
What about Callum Francis? Is he going to repeat Oliver’s performance? I hope not, so we could see more from him. He definetely has something else to show.
Two Grand are too sweet and maybe they get through or maybe not. Sugar free is going to be interesting to fight for a place with them.

I like Julian, he seems a nice modest guy with a big talent for the sax, I think that the public really like him (everyone i know does) and so do the judges. We didnt see much of Brit Chix, they might be okay, they might not. Fred Bowers will get buzzed, you like him once but not again. 2 grand have to choose the right song, hopefully not a love song this time, simon was right it was a bit too sweet. the girl’s a great singer though. Callum Francis is really cute, and i know that there r a lot of good people like him out there but he has the courage to do something with his talent. Fabia Cerra – you cant really go anywhere with her act. Plus, how will they cover up her breasts, it’s a live show! The dancing dog is ok, but it’s never going to win. Sugarfree r really really really good! Julian 4 the public and sugarfree n callum 4 the judges vote =]
The winner of the show gets to perform on the Royal VARIETY Show, so why the hell do they keep putting through singers and dancers every single year!!! I’m not saying their bad, but for once it would be good to have a different and unusual act, and this year, the most like that is only Julian Smith, and I guess you could count the breakdancing OAP and the dog act.
Was it me or did anyone else think the kid from stavros flattley looked a bit gutted to get to the final. I think it’s too much for some of the kids there should be an age limit of say 14.
