Chris Crosby: Any Dream Will DoChris Crosby has become the first finalist to leave BBC’s Any Dream Will Do.

After a decent vocal performance of Maroon 5’s hit ‘This Love’, both Denise Van Outen and Andrew Lloyd Webber thought that Chris was too boyish and skinny to play Joseph and it seems as though their criticisms may have influenced the voters.

Any Dream Will Do Beats Grease In Ratings Battle

Any Dream Will DoBBC reality show, Any Dream Will Do, has manged to trounce ITV’s rival musical show, Grease Is The Word on its launch week.

Six million people tuned in to see the 12 finalists who will compete for the lead in a West End production of Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

ITV’s Grease Is The Word - whose judges include 1980s star Sinitta and David Gest - made its debut on Saturday, attracting an average audience of 4m.

I enjoyed both shows, but for different reasons. Grease was funny, in a cruel kind of way. David Gest has actually been told off for being too nasty, and there were some freaks on the show. But Any Dream Will Do was more enjoyable from a talent point of view. There were plenty of tears on both shows, but the judges on Any Dream Will Do were caring and constructive, Grease judges openly laughed at the hopeless cases, making it uncomfortable viewing at times.

Any Dream Will Do: Lee Mead… Not Quite An Amateur

Lee recently played the Pharaoh in a touring production of Joseph, and his current part in another Andrew Lloyd Webber show, Phantom Of The Opera, is on hold until the programme concludes.

I’m betting that the Sunday Mirror have known this for weeks, but held off on reporting it until they knew i he made the final 12 or not…so is the show a fix? What do you think?

Any Dream Will Do: Denise Van Outen Has The Hots For Lee Mead

Lee Mead: Any Dream Will DoThe People has reported that Any Dream Will Do Judge and Broadway superstar, Denise Van Outen, has the hots for one of the shows twelve finalists.

The finalist in question is the rather delectable, Lee Mead. I can’ say I blame Denise, he certainly is easy on the eye!
