I felt so sorry for Celebrity Hijacker John Loughton last night as he was made a fool of by comedian Matt Lucas.

The Celebrity Hijack housemates have been set another group task by Big Matt Lucas this afternoon. They have been told that they are going to be given three minutes each to showcase their talents, and they were given just half an hour to practice.

The housemates were each given props to practice with, and the young big headed entrepeneur Liam was given a flip chart, which he then proceeded to make spelling mistakes on. Celebrity Hijack, the newest Big Brother TV show, launhced last night to only half the viewers of last years show.

Overnight ratings estimates showed that 3.5m viewers watched the E4 programme, compared with 7.3m who tuned into the first night of Celebrity Big Brother in 2007.

The show lost a further 2 million viewers when it switched channels from Channel 4 to E4 at 10PM. Read more & comment »

Celebrity Hijack housemates, Victor and Emilia Arata, have endured deaths of close family members who were fellow circus performers.

The pair have lost both an aunt and uncle in circus stunts gone wrong.

“Their auntie, Eva Garcia, died when she was 38 in Great Yarmouth after she fell about 20 metres during her aerial act,” another aunt, Mariska Arata told The Sun.

“She was very experienced, who started in the circus at the age of seven, and was so fit and strong - such a fantastic artist. Read more & comment »

Kelly Osbourne is to sit in the Big Brother chair next week, as she joins the team of Celebrity Hijack.

The show kicked off on Channel 4 and E4 last night, with Little Britain star Matt Lucas pulling the strings. Kelly will take over on Monday night and throughout the course of the show other celebrities will include Joan Rivers, Brian Sewell and Ian Wright.

It has just kicked off and I’m sure loads of you will have been watching the launch of Celebrity Hijack tonight.

Personally I feel so sorry for John already, as he is used as Matt Lucas’ real life puppet. People are looking at him like he is strange and crazy. In fact most of the other housemates are so busy looking for eye candy and seeing who is as ‘great’ as they are, that they are completley ignoring John’s every word!

Celebrity Hijack housemate is a 19 year old fashion designer from London. Jay has previously won the Tyler Media award for young designers and has showcased his collections at both New York and Caribbean Fashion Weeks. He is stocked in some of the hottest design stores in Manhattan and Jay describes his range as chic, classic and simplistic.

He is constantly sketching ideas and thoughts and has never been longer than two days without a notebook. Jay is on the look out for a muse and hopes the house might be the place to find one. Read more & comment »

Celebrity Hijack housemate Victor is a 19 year old circus performer from Birmingham. The other half of the circus act, Victor, is Emilia’s older brother and together they are the star attraction at The Palazzo Variety Show in Berlin were they perform a dangerous acrobatic roller-skating act on a high platform.

Having won numerous competitions, prizes and trophies in circus events throughout Europe, Victor’s practicing involves up to eight hours a day. Read more & comment »

Celebrity Hijacker Emilia is an 18 year old circus performer from Birmingham. A roller skating contortionist Emilia performs as a double act with her brother and fellow hijacker Victor, at circus around Europe and for January in the in the Big Brother House. As renowned performers Emilia and her brother spend half the year in Germany and travelling Europe with their shows and have performed for Princess Anne and Prince Charles.

Celebrity Hijack housemate Jeremy is a 19 year old racing driver from Hampshire. The first time Jeremy got behind the wheel of a go-kart, at the tender age of eight, he broke the track record on his first lap and since then his life has revolved around karting and latterly racing driving.

In 2006 Jeremy was nominated for the McLaren Autosport BRDC Young Driver of the Year and in 2007 he was named as the British Racing Drivers Club Rising Star classing him in the top six or so best young drivers in the UK. Following in Lewis Hamilton’s footsteps, Jeremy won the British Cadet Kart Championship in 2000 and has won several Formula Renault UK races.

Celebrity Hijack housemate Amy is a 21 year old Conceptual Artist from Leeds. She is currently studying a BA in Fine Art at Ruskin College, Oxford University where she won the Geoffrey Rhodes Prize for the highest first year exam results and is a multi award winning conceptual artist working with photography and installations – Amy doesn’t paint as she finds it ‘too messy’.

Celebrity Hijacker Nathan is a 21 year old singer/songwriter from Loindon. He was nominated alongside Amy Winehouse, Ne-Yo, Lemar and Akon for Best RnB act at the 2007 Mobo Awards. Having achieved a top 40 hit, Nathan already has a critically acclaimed album under his belt, entitled ‘Masterpiece’.

Recently back from performing in Japan, Nathan pens his own music and also counts rapping and music producing amongst his talents. Nathan has sung with Alicia Keyes when as a 15 year-old he was selected from his school to interview her. Not content with just chatting to her he asked if he could sing to her and she joined in.

Celebrity Hijacker Jade is a 21 year old Beauty Queen from London. She has won numerous beauty pageant awards including Miss Essex 2006, Miss Winchester 2007 and was Miss England Runner up.
