Jodie Prenger may have already lost a whopping 11 stone, as part of Living reality TV show, ‘The Biggest Loser’, but it seems as though that might not be enough for Cameron Mackintosh.
Jodie is up against Jessie and Samantha in this weeks I’d Do Anything final, however Oliver producer Cameron Mackintosh is said to favour the slimmer girls for the roile of Nancy.
Denise Van Outen has revealed that her fellow ‘I’d Do Anything’ judge, John Barrowman once tried to drag her into Andrew Lloyd Webber’s swimming pool for a spot of skinny dipping.
Denise told the Radio Times: “John went skinny-dipping in Andrew’s pool when we were at his house but I remained clothed. He tried dragging me in, but I resisted by clinging for dear life to the wall. Andrew wasn’t there but John told him he’d been in his pool naked and he just laughed.”
Rachel Tucker, tonight, narrowly missed out on the chance to perform the role of Nancy on a West End stage.
Even after an AMAZING performance of Caberet on last night’s show, and wowing Barry Humphries in tonight’s acting task, Rachel ended up in the sing for the third time.
I suppose that it didn’t matter how she sang that song, Lloyd Webber couldn’t really save her again.
Tonight’s decision just shows how little these shows actually depend on talent and how important it is to be liked. Rachel was by far the best girl for the role of Nancy. She not only had the vocal skills, but she is the only girl who has succeeded week after week in the acting challenges. However, she is one of the more reserved girls, and whilst we feel like we know a lot about the other three, Rachel was still very much a closed book. Not exactly a shock for anyone, but tonight 17 year old Niamh became the latest girl to leave I’d Do Anything on BBC One.
Niamh found herself in the bottom two for the third time on tonights results show. Worse still, she was up against probably the most talented girl on the show, Rachel Tucker. I can’t say I was too gutted when Andrew Lloyd Webber announced his choice, Niamh is a very talented young girl, but could never have played the role of Nancy and I think all the judges knew that from day one.
Next week will be the Nancy semi final, and we are left with four very strong contenders. Jessie could be in trouble if she doesn’t pull something amazing out of her hat, and I’m sure Rachel is nervous now that she has faced eviction twice. Continue reading ‘Niamh Leaves I’d Do Anything‘ »

I’d Do Anything enters its quarter finals tonight and some of last years Joseph hopefuls pop in to give the remaining Nancys some advice and assistance.
The Josephs will sing duets with the girls and then they will all perform in a massive group number, which is sure to bring the house down.
I will be glad to lay eyes on Daniel Boys one more time. That man is HOT!
Samantha Barks may have appeared on I’d Do Anything wearing hot pants, or knicker skimming skirts, but Samantha has claimed that she isn’t quite the sex pot that people may think.
In an interview with The Mirror, Samantha revealed: “I don’t think any of the lads’ mags will be after me. For those few minutes on stage, I’m not me. I’d never worn a pair of hotpants before, I don’t own a pair of shorts and I don’t own a skirt but you wear it for the character and it’s different.
“With the hotpants, it was odd because I don’t tend to get my legs out. I didn’t feel self-conscious and it was right for the song because it was a rocky number. It was an attitude outfit. I’m doing these feisty numbers and it’s cool to get on stage in something I would never normally wear. That’s what performance is all about.” Continue reading ‘I’d Do Anything: Samantha Barks Not A Sex Pot‘ »
Music moghul, Andrew Lloyd Webber, is jetting back to the States next week for the grand finale of American Idol.
Andrew mentored on the show just a few weeks ago and was a masive hit, drawing 24 million viewers.
He will be back in time for Saturdays I’d Do Anything show on BBC One, and is also said to be in talks with Simon Cowell about a joint reality TV collaboration.
