George Takei and Joe Swash have sahred a sneaky kiss on ITV’s I’m A Celebrity.
The former Eastenders and former Heroes actor kissed twice last night and campmates are beginning to wonder whats going on.
Swash told Takei: "Keep them thinking, Georgie boy, and give us a kiss. Keep them on their toes. They don’t need to know what’s going on between me and you, do they?"
Takei responded: "We know the truth, don’t we?"
Things really kicked off in the I’m A celebrity jungle last night as Nicolas nerves rose prior to her bushtucker trial. David teased Nicola, which she found less than funny. After she had departed Simon Webbe and Carly Zucker then attacked David for his lack of sensitivity.
He shouted:
“Do you not like her or something?”
David agreed but said: “I would say exactly the same that she doesn’t like me. There’s obviously a problem.”
I’m A Celebrity contestant Nicola McLean faced her worst fears – darkness and claustrophobia - during the Bushtucker Trial called ‘Cavern of Calamity’.
When asked by Ant what she thought of the trial’s name she said: “I’m claustrophobic, I hope it’s not going to be tight in there but I think it will be.”
Ant outlined the trial: “You have to get inside and search for stars, two kinds of stars large orange and smaller yellow ones, hidden inside the cavern, you’ve got five minutes to find 12 stars.’
Simon Webbe’s girlfriend has flown out to Australia amid speculation that she may be entering the I’m A Celebrity camp.
Former Misteeq singer Su-Elise Nash has been reported as the next entrant into the jungle but some are now saying that Layla from X Factor group Girlband may be entering this week.
Robert Kilroy-Silk decided to broach Martina Navratilova about her attraction to women.
‘Are you like me? Do you look at girls and fancy them?; He said.
Martina replied ‘Yeah, it depends if I’m in a relationship or not which I usually am, so I try to shut it out but if I see a beautiful woman I’m wow, she’s gorgeous’.
Robert continued. ‘The other thing is if it’s Simon (for example) – say he’s attracted to one of the girls, he can make a move, but how can you develop a relationship without causing offence?’
An apprehensive David arrived at his first Bushtucker Trial. Greeted by Ant and Dec he admitted to the hosts that he was hoping that if he was successful it could ‘unite us’.
Having earlier confessed that he has a fear of the dark, the Trial was explained. David would have to crawl through the entrance and into the tunnels. There were numerous tunnels and hidden within the cracks, crevasses, under water and mud were stars.
Dimly lit in some of the caves and in some tunnels pitch black, David would have to find as many stars in seven minutes.
When former Dollar singer, David Van Day was told that he would be competing in a Bushtucker Trial, the camp mates all gather round David to offer moral support.
Joe is the first to go over and say ‘you’re going to be hilarious, I’d love to see your one.’
Having completed two trials, Robert headed over to offer words of encouragement, ‘It’s hard…you’ve just got to kind of block whatever it is. Moving onto the stars’, and continues, ‘The thing is to come back and try, no pressure if you come back with nothing that’s fine’ and asked ‘What are you most scared of?’
I’m A celebrity 2008 may be cancelled this week if weather conditions do not improve.
The celebrities were forced to leave camp a few nights ago and shelter in the Bush Telegraph after torrential rain caused some flooding.
A spokeswoman for the show told MSN: "The safety of the celebrities and our crew is the priority. We know that this can be a hostile environment.
"If the camp floods completely then the celebrities will be taken out. The show will not be cancelled."
Esther Rantzen yesterday announced to the I’m A Celebrity group that they will have to undertake Bush Battles which will earn elimination for the first eviction.
Reading from the laminate, Esther informed the disgruntled group that they would have to compete against each other, in groups of three, to earn immunity. With all the celebrities eligible for the Bush Battles, the group were told that the winner would be exempt from the first public vote, the third place celebrity would automatically be eligible for the vote and the second place celebrity will earn a second chance to win exemption.
After winding up the I’m A celebrity jungle camp with his laughter during Robert Kilroy-Silk’s live task, Timmy realised he had to apologise.
Robert replied: “Oh stop it now. I’m not a vindictive or vengeful person but Tim, I think you know me I won’t take any crap. I’m trying to fit in here and be not my normal self. I’m trying not to be aggressive, arrogant. I’m trying to work with people but don’t do it any more.
“That’s fine. I accept that [the apology]. You don’t have to say any more. But leave it there and no more.”
Timmy Mallett’s behaviour towards Robert Kilroy-Silk during the Live Trial made quite an impression on the camp mates and became the main topic of conversation afterwards. The feeling in Camp was that Robert did a brilliant job winning all 12 stars. However, they all had something to say about Timmy’s cackling throughout the Trial.
George Takei said to Esther Rantzen: ”I’m impressed with Robert. It’s a mental thing. To go from one to another - the ability to switch off. He’s made of special stuff.”
Esther agreed and said: “The bigger the challenge, he takes on any challenge.”
She pointed out to George that David Van Day was sitting on Robert’s chair. “Not endearing,” said George.
“I’m afraid not,” said Esther.
With two new celebrities in the I’m A Celebrity camp, the stars were forced to discuss sleeping arrangements. Brian read some instructions. ‘You’ll find a new sleeping area for two celebrities outside camp. The exact location of the Cave. It’s up to you to decide who stays there.’
The Group had a meeting about who should do what and who should sleep where. ‘We want a democratic decision as to who goes where tonight’ said Robert.
Timmy volunteered to sleep in the cave. ‘I’ve said before I’ll go into the cave.’
As the discussion continued, Esther, who is frequently protected by the group, decided that she would like to be considered to sleep in the cave. Aghast, the majority of the camp disagreed, especially Brian.
As he arrived at his second bushtucker trial, Ant and Dec talked Robert through his second Bushtucker Trial. Encased in a Perspex ‘John T-revolting’ suit – fixed in the familiar pose (one hand pointed into the air), he was informed that this was an endurance test.
Asked by Ant and Dec if he understood the trial, he laughed ‘I can see very clear but I can’t see where I fit in.’
The suit was split in into six compartments, two legs, two arms, the torso, the head and added to each were jungle creatures. Each compartment was worth either one or two stars and to win all ten Robert would have to endure the ‘John T-revolting’ suit for ten minutes.
I’m A Celebrity contestant, Nicola McLean has been speaking about what appears to be her favourite topic – her boobs – to Esther, Dani and Carly. Suddenly she exclaimed: “What day is it? Is it Wednesday? It’s their birthday.”
She excitedly rushed up and ran to the Bush Telegraph interrupting an interview with Brian. “It’s my boobs’ first birthday today and I’m so excited.”
She shouted. “Can we have a little birthday party for my boobs, please. Sorry Brian to interrupt you.”
In the I’m A Celebrity jungle camp, Esther Rantzen has revealed that she was a virgin until the age of 23. Brian Paddick said: “I didn’t have sex with anyone until 21.”
Esther replied: “I didn’t have sex with anyone until I was 23.”
“And she hasn’t stopped since,” quipped Dani.
