Make Me A Supermodel Final Draws Near!

As the Make Me A Supermodel finale draws near the waiting is almost over for the four hopefuls competing to be a supermodel.

Luke, Marianne, Albert and Jen are fighting it out for that contract to work as model with Select. The boy and girl with the most amount of votes during Thursday’s grand final of Make Me A Supermodel, will win.

The show will be hosted by Fern Cotton on Channel 5. She says: “I think Luke is a very strong contender because he is so confident, but I like Albert. Albert is delicious.”

Make Me A Supermodel Criticised By Health Experts

Channel Five reality show “Make Me A Supermodel” is being criticized by health and nutrition experts after judges on the show made comments about a size 12 models weight.

The Daily Mail reported that Jen Hunter, 24, was reduced to tears when she was told that her legs were too stocky for her to be a catwalk model.

Judges said Hunter had not been taking her food and exercise regime seriously and had put on weight since joining the show.

Marianne Berglund, 18, who is Hunter’s rival on the show, has been shown to be clinically underweight, but the judges have said she has a “great” body, the Mail reported.

“It is highly irresponsible to tell a woman who is a size 12 she is too fat,” said nutritionist Fiona Hunter. “This trend towards the size zero is putting young girls’ long-term health at risk.”

A Channel Five spokesperson added: “The panel does not have any issue with Jen. However, Jen has not listened to any of the advice and subsequently put on weight.”

Waz Ashayer Voted Off make Me A Supermodel

Waz Ashayer has become the latest contestant to be voted off Channel 5 show Make Me A Supermodel.

Waz told presenter Fearne Cotton and the judges on Friday night: “It has been great. I definitely want to get into modelling.”

Presenter Fearne Cotton replied: “You’ve been a brilliant contestant.”

Winning a place on the Channel Five programme has been a dream come true for Waz.

Waz said his lucky break came when he was spotted by a modelling talent scout at a party in London.

He said: “I was told that about 2,000 applied and I could not believe it when they said that I was in the final six.”

“I was at a party in Leicester Square when this woman approached and asked if I had ever thought about modelling.”

He said he was not sure if he had heard her correctly.

“I didn’t think she was serious so I did nothing about it for a couple of months,” said Waz.

He then remembered her invitation to go to a modelling agency in Camden Town for an audition where he won his place.

Make Me A Supermodel: Mum of Jen Hunter Urges People To Vote For Her!

THE mum of a contestant on a supermodel reality TV show is begging people to vote for her daughter and keep her in the show.

Christine said to The Wigan News: “I would urge all your readers to vote for Jen. She’s a real northern lass and a great Wigan girl who is doing us proud.

“She has got great determination an a lot of commitment. It’s come as a real shock that she’s up for eviction tonight, we think she has been doing brilliantly.”

Christine then told of jen’s daughter Kyla: “She was really unsettled and crying when she saw her mummy on the television at first.
“But now she’s settled down a bit and she laughs and cheers when Jen comes on.

“It has been difficult. Since she’s been in the house, they have only allowed her to have one phone call and that was very emotional.”

Christine defended jen who has had some negative comments about her weight on the show: “She’s not a size zero model. She’s a normal, healthy size 12 and it’s hard to hear all the criticism that she’s getting on the show, it does upset you - I think watching it has made me lose about half a stone.”

Jasmine Lennard Hits Out At Channel 5 And Rachel Hunter

After being sacked from Channel 5’s reality show ‘Make Me A Supermodel’ for calling judge Rachel Hunter “Rachel Munter”, Jasmine Lennard has hit back by saying of Rachel: “She should get a life.”

Jasmine also accused the producers of trying to humiliate her by loading the scripts with “smutty”, remarks about her relationship with Cowell.

In an interview with The Mail on Sunday, Jasmine said: “It’s absolutely ridiculous and I actually find it quite funny.

“But I think Five have acted quite dishonourably and Rachel should just get a life and a sense of humour. They knew the situation when they employed me and surely this is what they wanted.”

But the insults have not been purely one sided, Rod Stewart’s ex-wife, gave an interview before the show aired and said Jasmine was not “an interesting personality”, and added: “She was nice to my face and then stabbed me in the back.

“I felt sorry for her. She was just there, that’s all.”

Jasmine said that she tried to ignore the comments and even made an effort to get on with Rachel.

She said: “She was stomping around with a very sour face whenever she saw me. If I walked down the stairs she would turn around to avoid me. And there were a few people close to her who were very bitchy and rude to me.

“I think she encouraged them to blank me. It was very playground, playground bullying. It’s surprising for a woman of her age - although she seems to get younger every year.”

Jasmine is owed around £20,000 for the show but may face a fight with Five because they are claiming she breached her contract.

She said: “I’m not going to be crying about it as I have some great people around me. Simon told me that if you’re going to give it out, you’ve got to be able to take it back. Perhaps Rachel should take his advice.”

A Five spokesman said: “It was very clear in her contract that no derogatory comments were to be made about any of the panel who eliminated her in the first series.

“As she broke this, we had no choice but to sack her.”

Jasmine Lennard Fired From Make Me A Supermodel

Jasmine Lennard has been axed from presenting Make Me A Supermodel — for calling judge Rachel Hunter a munter live on air.

Jasmine, 21, reignited her feud with the Rachel Hunter by blasting her with the slang term for ugly woman on Five’s Make Me A Supermodel Extra.

She insulted Rachel, 37, when co-host Anthony Crank asked: “Who’s your favourite Supermodel? Apart from Rachel, of course.

Jasmine smirked snidely and said: “Oh well, apart from Rachel MUNTER, it would have to be Naomi Campbell because she’s such a bitch.

But immediately after the show furious TV bosses called Jasmine’s agent and said she was fired.

An insider on the Five Life show said: “Jasmine was so unprofessional there was no choice but to dump her. You can’t use that kind of slur on live TV. Knowing her tantrums, we felt it appropriate to tell her agent but even he went mad and threw a fit.

A show spokesman said: “Make Me A Supermodel has fired Jasmine. It was very clear in her contract that no derogatory comments were to be made about any of the panel. We had no choice but to sack her.

Jasmine’s agent refused to comment.

After being booted off the show, Jasmine cattily claimed her mentor was “spotty, finished and fat.

She pouted: “I suggest she throws out the truckload of make-up she uses and hires a personal trainer.

Waz Ashayer Escapes Eviction On Make Me A Supermodel

Waz Ashayer was last week tipped as one of the finalists in Make Me A supermodel, and only a few days later he is nominated for eviction.

Luckily, Waz is still in the running to get his hands on a £1m modelling contract. Thanks to viewers’ votes he managed to escape getting the boot.

During the live catwalk eviction show supermodel judge Rachel Hunter told Waz, pictured, who lives in Marlborough, that he’s got something really special.

And after strutting his stuff in a range of costumes including his pants the viewers agreed and voted to keep him in the show.

Make Me A Supermodel: Waz Ashayer Tipped For Final

The second series of Make Me A Supermodel is well underway on Channel 5 and the inside information from channel Five is that 17 year old student Waz Ashayer, could be in the final three.

“Waz is the livewire of the house,” said spokesman Gary Smith. “He’s the youngest contestant and I think some of the others are getting a bit fed up with him because he’s quite loud and stays up all night.

“But he is doing really well in the competition. He’s been the first to get real modelling work.

“He went to a casting the other day and was chosen to model for Duck and Cover, which is really brilliant.”

And Mr Smith can’t see Waz being booted off the show before the final in a couple of weeks.

The panel was due to meet last night to decide who would be up for nomination, but Mr Smith added: “I can’t see it being Waz, definitely not.”
