Sree’s been pouring some verbal sugar on Karly today. This afternoon, while he was trying on various eviction outfits, he handed her a rose which went down very well…
“Aw Sree, thank you!” said Karly, clutching the task remnant.
Maybe that is a flower darling, but inside you can’t measure my love” Sree oozed, doing his best Alvis impersonation, complete with hip wiggling. Ew.
“Last night I had a dream,” he continued. “I see an angel with white clothes, but I can’t see her face… Read more & comment »
According to the Press Association, The Apprentice stars Philip Taylor and Kate Walsh are engaged.
Kate has apparently been showing off a £3,000 engagement ring which the pair chose together at a jewellers in London.
A source is quoted by the PA as saying, “They are very much in love and this was always more than a work fling. Neither of them wanted to split.
“Once the show aired they were reminded of how well they had got on and Phil picked up the phone. They were back in each other’s arms within days and now it looks like they will have each other for life. Read more & comment »
Yesterday, Kris started a talc fight by chucking loads of it over Dogface, who, by the way, really needs to put a comb through her hair now and again. But anyway, the powdery mayhem soon spread to everyone else who was sunbathing in the garden, and Sree managed to cover Noirin in it, despite her telling him not to.
She seemed to take it well and dutifully giggled along, but the look in her eyes told a different story…
According to Now magazine, Fern Britton’s already worried about the lack of work offers once she leaves This Morning, and it would seem that her closest friends are worried about Fern’s “obsession” with dieting.
Fern’s battle with her weight has of course been a very public one but the magazine states that, “Fern, 51, is hitting a brick wall with the dieting and, unable to shift the final few pounds.”
And a source who’s said to be close to Fern is quoted as saying, “She’s dedicating more time to her appearance than anything else.
“She’s now obsessed with her bingo wings, which isn’t helped by TV stylists who keep putting her in strapless gowns.
“She’s got an exercise regime that’s supposed to tone them up, but it isn’t working fast enough for Fern’s liking.” Read more & comment »
Last night, as all the other housemates were enjoying some pool fun with the inflatable pool toys they got as part of their shopping, Marcus and Noirin chose to sit inside and carry on with their mutual admiration club.
During the course of their conversation, talk turned to what Noirin might do once she’s left the house. Marcus asked if she’d go into glamour modelling but Noirin dismissed that idea, saying of her potential assets for that career, “I’m 25 now, that’s not going to last very long.”
After some reassurance from Marcus about her attractiveness, Noirin decided it was her turn to lavish some praise, so she told Marcus, “You’re like a father figure in the house” and added, “You actually do know everything that’s going on” which prompted Marcus to tell her he was flattered that she thinks so and much hugging ensued… Read more & comment »
*Apologies for earlier confusing post stating the final week was in July. It’s not… I got two stories mixed up into one. Again, my apologies. So here’s the updated post…*
It seems that we’re in for “surprises aplenty” to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the hugely successful show.
Channel 4 has announced that the housemates will encounter “shocking and unexpected” events during the week-long anniversary celebrations which start on Monday July 13th.
In their press release, Channel 4 said of the week-night shows, “Catch up on all the latest goings-on in the house.
“In the week of Big Brother’s tenth birthday, there’ll be surprises aplenty to celebrate a decade of the most talked-about TV programme of the noughties”.
And for the eviction night on Friday July 17th, they say that “a host of extravagant surprises” are in store for us and the housemates. Read more & comment »
As we reported yesterday, Marcus and Sree had a big row while ordering this week’s shopping.
With Charlie frenziedly writing the order down as items were shouted out, Marcus was ‘supervising’ the whole affair and couldn’t resist having a dig at Sree about his much touted maths skills – which weren’t much in evidence – when he was adding up the total.
Sree didn’t say anything but then, he tried to grab the book containing all the lists saying, “I need to get myself some things”
“You’re not taking the thing while we’re all looking at it” Marcus snapped.
“It’s everybody’s property. It’s not your duty, okay” Sree snapped back while snatching the book… Read more & comment »
It seems that Sree’s causing trouble again, without even trying to. Yesterday, he was fooling around by the pool and he decided to jump on Charlie for no obvious reason and Charlie wasn’t impressed.
“Sree, gerroff us! You dirty, little tramp!” Charlie shouted.
“What did you say?” asked Sree.
“You dirty, little tramp” repeated Charlie. “You’re a tramp. Someone who’s dirty.”
Wiping at his mouth, Charlie added: “You taste of chlorine.”
“I taste of Noirin? Why?” said an apparently hard of hearing Sree… Read more & comment »
Doing the shopping list has rarely been a time for harmony and peace in the house, but this year – so far – it’d all gone pretty smoothly. Too smoothly possibly and today, things erupted shopping list styly, big time, as many of the housemates might say, like.
No details of what caused the row are available yet but we do know that Marcus got so riled up that BB had to call him into the diary room to calm down, and quelle surprise, it seems Sree was involved somewhere.
And while Marcus was off on his enforced calm down, Halfwit decided to analyse his actions…
“Marcus is not generally an aggressive person, but he does have this very strong view that there are good people and bad people in the world.”
Last night, Marcus apparently overheard Sree and Lisa talking about Noirin, and it seems that the pair had been speculating that Noirin was “using” Sree and of course, it’s all about the gameplan – yawn – and Marcus told Noirin all about it this morning.
However, Sree, not knowing that Marcus had overheard his talk with the ever sympathetic/brown nosing Lisa, was in a chipper mood this morning and wanted to borrow some sunglasses from Noirin. He had no clue that she was seething…
“I just heard something you said about me last night” hissed Noirin when Sree continued to pester her about the sunglasses.
“If you’re hurt, I’m here. Come on” he said, apparently trying to be charming. It didn’t work and with a dangerous disregard for his teeth, he said, “You’re so paranoid.”
“I’mso paranoid?” hissed a furious Noirin.
“Darling, come on sweetheart, come on. I know I’m just winding you up, but I didn’t say anything – I swear to god” he said, trying to get back on her good side, if she has one where he’s concerned… Read more & comment »
The housemates should’ve been very happy bunnies last night when they learned that despite some of the housemates failing their individual tasks, the group overall passed and will therefore have a luxury shopping budget this week.
However, it seems that the heat and the lack of cigs is telling on the group and Rodrigo last night launched into Charlie after he apparently went a bit too far with a food fight.
And the house is firmly split into two camps as of last night with half of them backing Sree to stay and the other half expressing their support for Halfwit… Read more & comment »
Marcus and Noirin have passed their part of this week’s Italian themed shopping task.
The delighted housemates were told that the results of their efforts at producing Italian artwork had been judged by an independent art critic as being better than those of a six year old child whose painting was compared to theirs.
As all the housemates waited nervously for the result, Siavash joked, “You don’t look very confident” while Noirin admitted that she felt nervous, adding, “Why do I feel nervous?”
The plasma screen then came on and showed the judge in the task room as he viewed Marcus and Noirin’s efforts alongside the child’s painting. Read more & comment »
Bookies across the land are predicting that Sree will be evicted on Friday.
Irish bookies Paddy Power are offering odds of 1/50 on Sree staying and 10/1 on Halfwit remaining in the house after Friday’s eviction show.
A spokesman for Paddy Power reckons that it’s Sree’s whining that’s put us all off him and he added that he’s “absolutely certain” that Sree will be voted off the show this week… Read more & comment »
