We’ve had Emily Scott, we had the twins, but now finally we have some fresh male blood entering the Love Island resort, in the form of Abs from 90s boy band 5ive.

Abs has revealed that he already has his eyes on a few of the girls, namely Bianca Gascoigne and Colleen Shannon. He was chuffed to bits that Leo was kicked out as it will allow him to make a play for the beautiful Bianca. When asked what he thought of playgirl Colleen he replied:

“Well, you blatantly would. She could be an interesting night.�

Very chivalrous Abs!

After hearing what was planned for todays daily decider, Sophie Anderton ‘Diva Extrodinare’, announced to the group that she wanted to go home.

The decider today was based on body weight. each couple had to be weighed and the couple that gueesed the closest to ecah toehrs weight would win.

Sophie decided at this time to reveal that she had spent some time in rehab for an eating disorder, amongst numerous other problems. She also reveaed in the beach hut that she no longer fancies Shane and in fact he is adding to the reasons that she wants to leave. She stated

“I’m not myself. I’ve has a shit f*****g day now because of weight things,â€? she cried. “Yet again there’s another drama.

“And I don’t fancy Shane anymore. I haven’t done for a couple of days.â€?

“I’m going to get voted out for saying this but his self righteousness and, ‘I’m above everybody else’ thing is really doing my head in,�

“There’s Lee singing and making impressions, B’s miserable and apart from working out and avoiding the f*****g fridge which is now full of chocolate, what else am I supposed to do?

“I want to go on Saturday I want to go and let B and Colleen and Lee, people who really, really want it.�

And then came the inevitable dig at Danan…

“Paul Danan fancying me?� she shrieked. “As if I’m going to be interested. If you really think I’m going to lower myself to those levels you must be joking.

“I may be a model but I’m not dumb.�

Fingers crossed she follows through with this one…….

Love Island 2006 is becoming more like Big Brother every day. During the first few weeks of Big brother you would have been forgiven for thinking they had fitted a revolving door, as so many people kept walking out!

After Steve-O’s shock departure last week, Dennis Rodman has now followed suit and left the Love Island camp.

Why?

“I wasn’t brought all the way around the world to be a babysitter,â€? grumbled Rodman.

“I just couldn’t deal with all the little kid talk, the fighting and b*tching and complaining. I wasn’t into all thatâ€?.

“But I came here to do what I had to do,� said Dennis, “And you know? I had a good time�.

So what did Mr Rodman make of the other Love Island inhabitants?

“Me and Chris hit if off, Brendan was heaps cool, and Paul was like the comedian�.

“Paul kept everything lively and going, especially when he started after a couple of drinks… Paul was the man!�

“I think Sophie can be a bitch, but she knows how to play the cameras and votes�.

Poor Lee came of worst though….

“What’s the kids name again? Oh Lee…”

“He’s in between a little transsexual and a little gay guyâ€?.

True Rodman gold!

Been away from the telly for a couple of evenings, so I hit the web this evening to find out what’s been going on. Here’s the Love Island update:

Austrailian model Emily Scott has been ejected from Love Island. A bit of a shame, since she hadn’t really had a chance to shine since arriving on Love Island what seems like half-an-hour earlier.

From what I hear she’d been doing a decent job of keeping Cockroach Paul Danan away from the other girls on the Island - I hope they were grateful to her. Milo’s not surprised, though - she was never going to survive against an original Islander!

Apparently Patrick Keilty has put his foot in it slightly by insulting Bianca Gascoigne’s mum, Cheryl:

Presenters Matt Brown and Jayne Middlemiss apologised to Sheryl, a guest on the show, for showing the footage [of Leo and Bianca in the shower together], but Patrick said, “I’m not apologising. Why should we apologise? We’re only showing the behaviour.

“You should apologise, not us. The way Mary Kielty brought me up you would not catch me in the shower… with Leo.”

Maybe ‘Father’ Shane Lynch’s Christian values are starting to rub off on Kielty a bit? Watch for PK fussing about the beach house trying to get the girls to cover up and lecturing the boys on sex out of wedlock

And another celeb mother has weighed in on the presenters: Sophie Anderton’s mum has ‘blasted’ Kielty and co-host Fearne Cotton for being biased about her daughter. Better yet, she claims that “Beautiful people can be alienated and that’s what is happening here”.

What does that say about her opinion of Sophie? Does ‘beautiful’ define her? Has she no other redeeming features than her looks? Shame on you Sophie’s mum.

Then again, with her doctor and her best friend chipping in with their views…

But it looks as though Shane could now be replaced in the celebrities affections by newcomer bad boy Dennis Rodman.

All the boys swarm round him constantly, and we have definitely seen an increase in laddish and overtly sexual behaviour since the basketball star arrived in camp.

Since Dennis arrived Shane seems to have taken a back seat, often disapproving of the conversations, or of peoples actions. Will Shane regain top spot? Hopefully right after Dennis is speedboated right off of there!

American basketball star Dennis Rodman is certainly no stranger to reality Tv. His latest stint was in January of this year on Celebrity Big Brother, where he tried it on with any female that moved!

Watch out Paul Danan as Dennis is due to enter the Love Island camp tonight, and I think there will be fireworks. Dennis is a smooth operator at best, a sleaze bag at worst. He will p**s off at least a few of the boys by attempting to steal their women, but who will fall for it?

For Shanes sake, here’s hoping that Sophie falls hard for Dennis and leaves the way clear for Colleen or Emily to make their play for the Irish studmuffin!

We all know that Lady Victoria Hervey was gutted to leave Love Island on Friday. She didn’t want to be seperated from Chris Brosnan, or more likely didn’t want him being stolen by the delectable Colleen Shannon.

Who would have guessed though that she would have tried to sneak back in? Whilst filming for the show’s spinoff ‘Aftersun’ Lady V tiptoed past the security guards and made her way back into the resort, drawing squeals of delight from the celebrities.

“Come hide in the bedroom!� Leo whispered, trying to push the Lady out of view.

“Quick, quick, quick. They’re going to go mad!�

“Hide her, hide her!� the celebs chanted while trying to hide Lady Victoria under duvets.

But security soon caught up with the fugitive and escorted her off the premises.

“That was absolutely brilliant,� Kelle cried. “That was a move and a half Victoria, you rock!�

“Vicky you are a princess!� Sophie called as Lady V was led away.

In the Fiji Love Island the morning started quite peacefully. A bite to eat, a quick sunbathe, all the celebs were in top form.

Things quickly changed when Paul Danan was summoned to the Jungle Hut and given the task of making all the girls scream within the next hour.

Paul relished the challenge and with a cheeky glint in his eye set off to scare some females!

His first victim however was none other than the volatile Sophie Anderton. In order to raise a scream Paul tried to untie the strings holding Sophies bikini bottoms together but instead of a scream she just started to yell at Paul.

“I didn’t find it funny you piece of scum!� Sophie raged.

“It was a f*****g laugh!� Paul protested. “For f**k sake I am not a pervert!�

“Don’t ever do it again….next time you do not want to see my reaction!� Sophie spat back.

“Just because I’m a top lingerie supermodel, it doesn’t mean I allow men to touch me!�

Paul was last seen making his escape over the Fijian hills quaking with fear….but wil he return??????

Tonight we are in for a treat! While watching our nightly does of Love Island we get to see former Boyzone singer Shane Lynch have THE talk with model Sophie Anderton.

Sophie has spent the last two weeks telling anyone that will listen how much she likes Shane and how besotted she is with him. She has also frequently added that she knows he feels the same way. Unfortunately for her, it seems that Shane thoughts on the matter couldn’t be more different than her own.

Shane approached Sophie and began by saying:

“This is something that I feared between me and you which is getting weird,�

“I think you’re an amazing girl and don’t want our friendship to be weirded out,� Father Shane begins, Bianca and Kelle’s words of encouragement still playing on his mind.

“I don’t know why anyone else was talking about it,â€? Sophie insists…incredibly!

â€?I just want to make sure it doesn’t affect us and we can crack on as friends,â€? Shane continues.

Sophie acts cool as a cucumber and continues,

“I just said I wasn’t interested in you in that way, we are totally on the same page, they can’t understand.â€?

“Absolutely, that’s what I thought. That’s where I thought you were coming from,â€? Shane lies!

Sophie then sauntered to the Beach Hut to spout:

‘When we leave here it’s something that could happen, it’s just not going to happen right now,’

“Fab, glad that’s ‘sorted’ then…aaaarrrrgggghhhhhh!!�

I think that if Shane really wants to put Sophie off he is going to have to try much harder than that. The conversation should have went:

“Hey stalker! Stop looking at me, talking about me and lusting after me! I want Colleen, now GO AWAY!”

Lets be honest none of us would have blamed him.

Only a few days ago the sad and lonely paul Danan was pining for some new blood on the island and it seems as though Love Island bosses are about to answer his prayers!

Tomorrow will see the arrival of a new celebrity to the Island and she will be Austrailian swimsuit model Emily Scott.

When asked if she will be spicing things up for the boys she replied:

“I imagine so, without even trying!�

“I’m a girl aren’t I? Another female presence will put something in the mix.�

When asked which of the boys caught her eye she replied

“Paul’s quite cheeky isn’t he?�

“I have to just go on looks at the moment, because I don’t know their personalities that well yet, but Shane’s a very good looking boy obviously.�

Look out Sophie!

Paul Danan has been a mere shadow of his former self on Love Island so far. Last year he was probably the loudest one in the group, and though he certainly wasn’t the most likeable, he was the most memorable.

This year however Paul seems subdued in comparison. He confessed to Shane Lynch and Lady Victoria Hervey that he was feeling very lonely on the island, and felt like the rest of the group wouldn’t care whether he was there or not. He also admitted to missing last years group, including Victoria’s baby sister Isabella Hervey.

Shane and Victoria did try to reassure Paul, but I think he’s right. The group just don’t want him there. They seem wary and distrustful of him, and no one has really bonded with him so far.

Paul admitted that he is used to being the centre of attention in a group, the “life and soul of the party”, he is finding it difficult accept the fact that this year there are bigger characters than him and that he can’t command everyones attention as he may have done last year.

“Perhaps I could have controlled my emotions better,� Steve-O admits after leaving Love Island.

“I deal with authority very badly,� Steve-O comments, after ranting about not receiving his promised beer and chocolate.

“I’ve been in jail. I expected it to be less like jail and it was a lot like it.

“Although I didn’t fall in love with any of my cellmates like I did on Love Island!�

And it seems that Steve definately had a thing for blonde bombshell Colleen Shannon.

“She lives three blocks away from me in Hollywood,� he sighs. “I’d love to pursue a relationship with her when I get home.�

“I’ve left my number on everyone’s t-shirts in the resort and I promised Colleen I wouldn’t leave it on any of the girl’s garments.

“Well I didn’t – I wrote it on something else!�

So as Steve-O joins the epic queue for Colleen’s affections (and we snoop around the resort in search of gruesome graffiti!), he’ll have plenty of time to reflect on his four hour outburst on the Island last night.

“I think when I got emotional it was for the cast, not me individually,� he explains. “Maybe I’m a prima donna. I’m just used to being treated better.

“Entering Steve-O into Love Island was a disaster waiting to happen, but I see it as a beautiful disaster and I have no complaints.�
