Alesha Dixon has hinted that she may not be returning to BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing later this year.
The singer replaced Arlene Phillips on the show last year, but may be about to drop out and concentrate on her music career.
Dixon told The Mirror: “I’m starting the album from scratch this week, including writing and recording everything. It’s all I’m thinking about. That’s what I’m concentrating on.
Liza Minnelli is reportedly being considered as a replacement for Alesha Dixon on this year’s Strictly Come Dancing judging panel.
A source told The Mirror: “Alesha got off to a very shaky start but did improve. Despite this, her future is believed to be hanging by a thread.
Brendan Cole has defended new Strictly Come Dancing judge Alesha Dixon, saying that she coped well on her first series of the show.

“It has been tough on Sarah. We were on holiday when I heard I was going to be on the show and I went home, leaving her alone.
