Strictly Come Dancing competitor Rachel Stevens revealed that her dance partner, Vincent Simone is a complete flirt and womaniser, I wonder if her fiance is worried?

Former Eastenders star, Jill Halfpenny, has returned to the set of Strictly Come Dancing and is getting ready to perform a jive on tonights show.

Behind the scenes of the show, Jill caught up with her former co-stars Gillian Taylforth and Jessie Wallace, Jessie is currently dancing with Jill’s old partner Darren Bennett.

Jill told The Sun: “Jessie is so lucky she’s got Darren too and he is lovely. I am sure they will go far together. And Gillian has Anton Du Beke, who’s a fantastic partner.” Read more & comment »

The show tonight kicked off with Jessie Wallace and her partner, Darren Bennett performing a salsa. Jessie had been very nervous in rehearsals and struggled to learn the moves but on the night, ‘the girl done good’, but would the judges agree?

When the pair finished their dance and nervously awaited the judge’s comments, Brucie accidentally called Jessie, Jelly, which amused him no end but I don’t think anyone else actually heard it! Anyway, Len said that he’d enjoyed the dance but felt that Jessie was concentrating too hard on getting the moves right so she lost some of the dance’s passion.

I should be providing you with a comprehensive review of tonight’s Strictly Come Dancing performances, but instead I am amazed by Brendan Cole’s nerve on the dance floor!

None of the judges seemed to pick up on it, but I definitely saw Brendan getting a good old grope of Miss Snowdon’s breast on the dancefloor and the lingering nature of the touch makes me unsure that it was accidental.

Did anyone else notice this or am I the only person in the country to pick up on this dirty detail?

Heather Small has warned the Strictly Come Dancing judges that she will fight back if they slate her first solo performance tonight.

“I wonder if the judges take bribes? They’re so harsh,” Small wrote in her training diary, published in The Mirror today. “If you make any mistake they magnify it and to see someone get a tongue-lashing on live TV is terrible. Hollywood heart throb, George Clooney is said to be impressed with the dancing skills of his ex, Lisa Snowdon and was so amazed by Lisa’s performance on last weeks Strictly show that he has been bombarding her with texts and flowers ever since.

A source told The Mirror: “Prior to the show starting, George sent Lisa a ‘good luck’ text’. It was the first time they’d had any contact for some time. Lisa was pretty amazed but assumed that would be the last of it.

“Instead, after the show George sent her another text, this one was along the lines of ‘Wow!’”

Strictly Come Dancing judge, Bruno Tonioli, has revealed that intends to lose sopme weight so that he doesn’t look piggy when filmed for high definition television.

Strictly Come Dancing judge, Arlene Phillips, has branded the shows head judge, len Goodman, a sexist!

Arlene told The Mirror: “Last year Len was sometimes aggressive when he didn’t need to be and sometimes very sexist.

“I got irritated with it but I kept forgiving him. But not this year. I’m tired of forgiving.”

She acknowledged that Bruno Toniolo can also be moody, but she finds it easier to put up with his snappiness. Read more & comment »

GMTV presenter, Andrew Castle has revealed that dancing on Strictly Come Dancing was the most intimidating thing he has ever done!

He admitted to the Daily Mirror: “I’ve walked along the wing of a flying aircraft, done a bungee jump and watched my wife give birth twice and this was by far the most intimidating.

“Every element scares me. Sequins, shirts slashed to the navel and dancing in front of 10 million people.”
