Cage Fighter Alex Reid has reportedly taken instruction from his girlfriend Katie Price and refused to dress as a woman in the Celebrity Big Brother house.

Show bosses were thought to be furious with his decision, as they only booked him after reading about his exploits as Roxanne in the press. Then he turned up on launch night ‘dressed like Olly Murs.’

A friend told The Sun: “He’s not ashamed of that side but he feels that’s all people think of now. He is actually very stylish and interested in fashion.

“His girlfriend Jordan advised him that it is his ‘face time’ with the public and to use it wisely.”

A show source said: “Alex may well be a high-profile figure but what has he actually got to say? He is famous for punching people and hanging off Jordan’s arm.

“Hopefully he is bluffing and has sneaked in something in his suitcase for when his conversation isn’t cutting it.”

Alex told Nicola T: “I dress up for fun – they’ve just blown it way out of proportion. If it’s going to get me a hot woman, which it did, I’ll dress up whatever.”
