Last night’s launch of the final series of Celebrity Big Brother, attracted 6.72 million viewers at it’s peak.

The Channel 4 reality TV show, saw stars such as Vinnie Jones, Stephen Baldwin and Lady Sovereign become housemates. An average of 5.91 million viewers (21%) tuned in between 9pm and 10.15pm, this figure peaked at 6.72m (24.1%) at 9.55pm.

Last year’s launch was seen by 5.27 million people (21.8%) across the same timeslot, the 2007 launch attracted 8.2 million viewers.
