Amy Childs has spoken out about reports that she has been signed up to star in Channel 5′s new series, The Bachelorette.

The former The Only Way is Essex star and Celebrity Big brother housemate was linked to the show last week, with newspapers reporting she would follow in Gavin Henson’s shoes and travel to a romantic destination to film the series, which would follow her quest to find love amongst 25 hunks.

Amy stopped short of confirming the rumours, however she did admit that she would ‘love’ to work with ‘all those good looking men’ and told New magazine:

“It’s been reported that I’ve been asked to do The Bachelorette for Channel 5. I’ve got lots of options to weigh up next year. But wow – all those good-looking men!”

The red headed beauty added: “As a single girl, I’d love to do it, so you never know!”

Amy’s reality TV show ‘It’s All About Amy’ currently airs on Five and her former The Only Way Is Essex castmate Kirk Norcross has been linked to next year’s The Bachelor series.

However insiders say producers haven’t confirmed him as their lead just yet, as they are still hoping to land a higher profile star for the show.
