Celebrity Big Brother 2007: The Nasty Side Of Danielle Lloyd
I have seen a really nasty and bitchy side of Danielle Lloyd over the last few days in the Celebrity Big Brother house.
She is constantly talking about Shilpa when she leaves the room, she called her a dog tonight and then she was complaining to anyone that would listen about the dinner that Shilpa cooked.
However when Shilpa asked Danielle if there was a problem, ro if she had upset her in any way, Danielle was quick to deny that anythign was wrong. When Shilpa asked her why she had snapped earlier, she went on to assure Shilpa that she was one of her favourite people in the Big Brother house….an obvious lie.
Later in the evening Danielle and Jade went on to fight with Shilpa for some obscure reason that even Danielle had forgotten by the end of the argument.
If the girl isn’t going to be honest then she needs to stop being so bitchy and vocal about what she thinks of Shilpa. Does she forget that millions of people watch this show every day? Does she not realise that Shilpa will see all this when she gets out? Is the girl thick?

Jermaine said that when people get drunk they show their real character. If this is true what a spiteful nasty girl she really is.
Carol said she would get the most attention from this show and I think she will, but not for the reasons Carol thought.
I wonder if Carol saw this show tonight she has now changed her opinion of Jade and Danni.

I have been studying Shilpa for some time and think she is playing the best game of all as she provokes in a very subtle way and then acts all innocent and gives Jermain and Dirk very different explanations for the tension between her and the girls. She targets the people who have a chance to win like Danielle and then when Danielle reacts (her aim) it makes Danielle look bad. The trouble with Jade, Danielle and Shilpa was when Shilpa wanted to know why Danielle went to sit with Jade and not her and could not seem to accept the explanation from Danielle that Jade was an old friend from before they went into the houe. Do you think Shilpa really cared if Danielle sat with her or Jade? She was just provoking. Using the same tactics she had used on Jackiey. Very subtle but effective in breaking down the calm, nice side in the person. I personally would like to see Shilpa go as she is too devious and underhanded even though very beautiful. Her demure act does not tie up with the playboy type magazines with her in them. She is two faced, a trouble maker, devious and dishonest. Danielle is reacting badly admittedly but she is being pushed. I hope Shilpa becomes one of the girls instead of everyones secret enemy and nightmare (Jackiey’s word), for her own sake.

ps Please note that it is not only Danielle who does not like Shilpa…watch the eyes of the people she speaks to(the shutters go down and a coldness creeps in). Some are too polite or too peace loving to be outspoken or nasty but they dont like her, it is obvious. I think the only fans she has in the house is Jermain and Dirk.

I’ve watched every episode of Celebrity Big Brother up to now, and I’m hard pressed to think of any reason why anyone would be so nasty to Shilpa. Maybe people are trying to think up tenuous reasons to why they don’t trust Shilpa, because they can’t admit they are just a bit well, racist. Big word I know, but just because the girl hasn’t rolled over and played dead, allowing Danielle and Jade to walk all over her, doesn’t mean she’s provoked anyone.
Up to now, behind Shilpa’s back, not up front and straight like they claim to be, Jo has said she felt like slapping her, Danielle has called her a dog and Jack has said he hated her from the start….WHY? What has she done?
By the way, I’m not a fan of Shilpa’s, I haven’t warmed to any of the housemates this year, but being a little “snooty” or whatever they are accusing her of, is hardly a reason to bully someone. I think anybody would seem snooty in comparison to some of the dregs in the house this year. Are Big Brother so desperate for Jade to win, they will ignore the fact she is and always has been a manipulative little bully who get other people to do her dirty work for her. I think Jade’s working class, cheeky, straight talking idiot act (that she has cleverly cultivated since leaving the BB house the first time around) is wearing thin now that people are remembering that there was actually a reason she was the most hated person in Britain at one point.

Not to be overtly sexist, just partially, but it amazes me when women invent reasons or read into subtle “game playing” over other women who are simply just better looking than them. Shilpa asks Danielle if she has upset her and that is suddenly a master stroke of machivellian proportions, she “provokes” the vitriolic reaction of a pair of scrubbers. And for Evelyn Lewis to have so shrewdly observed such cunning behaviour, one that seems to have bypassed most of the popultion, good job!
Call a spade a spade. It’s fine to be jealous and see want you want to see in a situation, you, Jade and Danielle have taken a dislike to Shilpa (as men we see this many times in work places, friendship groups etc when a girl is by far classier and better looking than others)but to throw mud just reveals the workings of your own murky mind. And to make fun of someones accent when they are speaking a language that is not their own reveals even more.

I only have a passing interest in C/BB, but i am responding to Evelyn Lewis’ very last comment.. ‘ I think the only fans she has in the house is Jermain and Dirk.’ (both american) should be considered the most serious question about this years contestants and overall of english society. It really goes to show english attitude towards people from other backgrounds. As an british asian, I find it saddening and shockening, that if something of this sort can happen on live tv, then imagine what is being said behind closed doors of english homes. I do not believe for once that this is an isolated and rare comment made and even though everybody pays lips service to race equality, a large proportion of the english nation has racist tendancies. and btw this is the first time ever that i have ever bought out the race card. but i really believe that it had to.

This Danielle claimed she was bullied at school because she ws ’so pretty’ and had no friends when she left school - I think she is a racist cow who can’t swallow the fact Shilpa is more sexier and appealing AND the fact that an asian girl called Preeit Desai is now Miss UK. Jade is a racist ‘dumb’ cow and skinny Jack Tweedy called Shilpa a blooddy paki… well he should be reported to the police. And that Jo is a nasty piece of work too. Her racism is very well hidden but you can still spot her kind a mile off.

We dont even have to comment on Jade Goodie (URGH!) and the rest of the housemates are mediocre, Maybe Dirk Benedict has the most nouse out of them all, Who knows??

i’ve been watching CBB from the very beginning and the way in which Shilpa Shetty is being treated is just disgraceful. The derogatory marks which are being aimed at her simply show teh insecurities of both Danielle and Jade. These to are the most likely to go out and eat a curry every night, yet still find the time to criticise Shilpas currry and also take the mick out of her accent, which is blatantly racist. whereas both of tehse contestants had amore than likely chance of winning over the others, they are going to be massively hated when they come out. jade had a chance to change all public views of her by coming back into the BB house, and she certainly has done this but for all the wrong reasons. Danielle has disgraced herself even more, from being sacked as former Ms great britain to being a downright b**ch and a racist (not to mention her lack of knowledge). She has also made herself look even more stupid for teh fact of saying her and Jade were best mates before they came into teh house. We all know this is not true as Jade herself as said that shes only seen Danielle a few times and talked to her once. Danielle will use any excuse to talk about Shilpa, which just amke sher look like she has not got anything better to do. Not to forget jo. everyone thinks shes little miss innocence, but shes just as bad as she too slates Shilpa, but then goes on like she really like sher to her face. Jack and Jackie too never liked Shilpa for no apparent reason, this just shows the racism in their ‘type’ of people. BB should be ashamed that they have allowed this to carry on because its not good tv watching someone being racially abuse whether its to their face or behind their back.

If no one has an empathy for the treatment of Shilpa then they themselves are equally bullies.
The whole world is now reporting about the British BB and the treatment of Shilpa and so if anyone can justify the awful treatment of a lovely girl in such a way then they are a vile as Jade and her witches.

Danielle is a painted pig. only good for one thing. She is stupid, crude, plain (yes, scrape the make up off she takes all day to put on) To think that women died for equality!
She did not get her “crown” taken away from her JUST because she appeared in playboy. with here axxx in the air and her txxx hanging out! she was kicked out because of cheating, getting the title dishonestly in the first place by bedding one old middle age judge! (a footballer, suprise suprise!)
I have no great warmth for Shilpa, but she is naturaly beautiful, intelligent and womanly. a deadly mix against three useless plain parasites.
And what about her so called pals H, Dirk, Jermaine and Cleo, what a bunch of spineless pathetic losers!
They are guilty of bullying/racism by turning a blind eye!
Finally! I am from Liverpool, and proud of it! But that accent!It sounds like white noise! How old id she 23, A grown woman, not a girl.

I must add that even though Jade has been absolutely vile to Shilpa it was Danielle who started the name calling and digs at Shilpa being controlling from day two. The others have just started to join in and have taken over in their mission to destroy her. And the pleasure on their faces when Shilpa is isolated is awful.
The girl cannot win. If she is happy it is fake, if she is sad she is sulking. If she is with the group she gets talked over and ignored if she goes and talks to someone she is described as spliting the group and keeping Dirk and Jermaine from them. As if Dirk and Jermaine want anything to do with these witches. Does Jade really think she is influential. Absolutely not.

The reason why they have taken an instant dislike to Shilpa is because even though they, Danielle, Jade and Jo, seem to be confident and self-assured like most ‘queen-bees’ Shilpa has left them feeling very insecure. Shilpa has brought them plummeting back down to earth. She is classy, sophisticated, intelligent not to mention a downright successful bollywood star. They are famous for having lost a Miss. England title, being big-mouth of Britain and singing with crushed pop group S Club, respectively. They can’t take that, and the calm, dignified, cool and witty way she handles their childish cat-calls only enrages them even more.

Apparently, Shilpa has brought upon her own bullying in order to gain attention for playing the ‘victim’. What motive would she have to do such a thing? Shilpa Shetty has 25,000 fans worldwide: she does not need to resort to playing the martyr or victimizing herself to gain popularity unlike Jade Goody, Danielle Lloyd or Jo O’Meara.
And secondly, I assume that Evelyn also thinks that Shilpa has ‘provoked’ Danielle into back-handedly calling her a ‘dog’, hypnotised Jackiey into labelling her the ‘Indian’, forced Jo to claim that Indians can’t cook and hence die from starvation, and perhaps bribed Jade Goody into poking fun at her accent and cuisine at every possible oppurtunity despite the fact that:
She herself does not speak the Queen’s english
Her vocabulary of ten words is not even comparable to Shilpa’s articulate prose
If she had to speak Shilpa’s mothertongues of Tulu, Hindi or Tamil her accent would hardly be spot-on perfect either.

How nice it is to see people of Indian extraction on a British noticeboard letting us Brits know how racist we are while conveniently omitting to bring up the caste system and the fact that even educated Indians themselves will admit they are part of the most racist nation on earth.
Danielle,Jo and Jade are completely talentless nobodys but to label everyone in Britain as racist because of these 3 duds is completely uncalled for and as unfair as the bullying in the CBB house.
I also wonder how Shilpa treats those of lower caste when shes back home in her priviledged ivory tower,anyone in any doubt about the validity of what i have said should visit the letters page on The Times Of India you will see for yourself the blatant racism and just how the average Indian person views Miss Shetty.

I would like to respond to comments made by Haroon, who says he is a British Asian and then goes on to say “imagine what is being said behind closed doors of english homes.” In my opinion that is pure assumption and generalising about ‘English’ peoples attitudes, which I find offensive. I don’t deny that racisim is out there… as it is in EVERY country, but not everyone in ‘England’ is a racist. I also agree that Channel 4 should NOT have allowed this the type of behaviour to be screened to millions of people..remember when there was a big ‘punch up’ on Big Brother …cant recall which one. a couple of years ago..the show was closed down , off air, for a while…most of the comments I have read here are actually racisit against ALL named suspects who were in the big brother house.

I have read some intellectual and well articulated comments concerning the ‘race’ issue which has surrounded Celebrity Big Brother. How ironic that these intelligent arguments speak out against racism, but the most racist comment - quote ‘filthy niggers’ - fails to engage in any kind of logical argument. One can only assume the author of such a comment ran out of electricity in his trailer thus rendering him incapable of explaining his point.

I’d just like to respond to the comments made by melody angel,and give my point of view on this matter, YES not everyone in England is a racist and you propbably did find that offensive but i think alot of indians found it offensive to when the three WITCHES made racist remarks about shilpa and the rest of the indians.so people are obviously going to do the same not everyone is forgiving and very kind hearted like Shilpa.
YES racism is in every country but not every country calls itself MULTI-CULTURAL. and when we say that our country is multi-cultural we need to wellcome other people into our countries and make them feel as if they are living in a multi-cultural society where everyone is respected for their beliefs.
However its diffrent in some countries…we say were multi-cultural but yet we dont like people covering their faces we feel thretened by them and we can not communicate with them properly…but we are a multi-cultural country so we should surely adjust to other peoples culture and beliefs and accept and respect them?? if they dont disrespect us when we roam around the country with half ourselves or maybe even 3/4 of ourselves naked why do we object to the way they believe that they should dress. why do we not like them covering their heads if thats the way they wish to dress? we just turn a blind eye to where ever we see racism. im acutally happy that people living in india have spoken up about the rasict abuse against Shilpa Shetty….cuz if they hadnt, British asians and ofcourse those english people living in England who would have spoken up to the issue would have had a blind eye turned to them (which is not anything new) and their concerns put to rest by a simple explanation that the three ladies were not bein racist they were just being bullies/b….es!(which is also bad enough).and given a one off apology which would have been just a way of getting themselves out of any trouble. We teach children in schools that bullying and racism is wrong we teach them manners of life yet young people are becoming more and more worse..if shilpa represented her country with respect and dignity, Jermaine and Dirk represented there country in the same way, why did Jade, Danielle, Jo and ofcourse not forgetting Jack (and some of the other housmates using the language that they did) cause us British people (despite the fact that we are British White/Black/Asians) such shame….like Shilpa said if this is todays UK then its SCARY…ITS A SHAME

Dannielle, should not be allowed to hide behind ” iam easily led” nonsence. She expressed her feelings and views with great clarity and with out prompting. I read a recent interview with her prior to going into the house in which she gave her view on politics stating people should not be able to come hear here to find jobs we have enpough people in this country. Danielle is in my view a racist, and also the most manipulative of all three women. She has no problem with dishonesty which was made clear when she did not declare an interest when being judged by her boyfriend in teh beauty competetion. Let her find a real job earning her wages honestly .

bottom line, shipa is pretty, sexy, english also perfect although has an accent. hold on a second danielle has an accent? main thing is shipa’s english is better, vocab is better. whats everyones problem? isit hard to admit that jade’s claim to fame was big brother. she a rude racist lazy cow. she got no manners no sense of direction, tobe totaly honest if it was up to me a few slaps would have been perfect same to jo and dan. how can you follow some one? what if it was the other way round? bunch of asians with jade, jo or dan? and all this happend. how far would they take it? shilpa was a threat to them 3 girls simply cause she is a decent, respectable girl that has general knowledge. jo was just as bad but trying to be undercover, jo is hardly a celeb nemore she was done and dusted time back!!! as for dan she works and deals in a professional environment whats with the lang? all i have to say is good to see this side of them girls, jade shoudl of had public when she come out so hopefully she would of got egged flowerd and the rest of it!

I would suggest that the things that we should really question over the recent bb issue are not “racism” but:
English feminism (as opposed to feminism)
English “womanhood”
Political correctness.
I have mostly had foreign girlfriends and been around foreign females in my work environment, which partly involves discussing social issues with visitors to Britain. ie I teach on cultural holidays.
Typical comments from French, Turkish, Dutch girls, wherever they may come from, are:
“Why are English girls always bitching? I do n’t understand this bitching”.
“Why are English girls so insensitive towards men?”
“Les anglaises sont moches (ugly in demeanour)”
I could give hundreds of examples, and examples of foreign guys I know in permanent stable relationships with foreign women while those with English women are divorced or troubled.
The bottom line is that English feminism is an extreme version of feminism, an experiment; why? because English girls now do n’t have any parameters, and many of them are out of control. I’m not talking about the Christians, the muesli munchers, and other groups who give some consideration to moderating life, but a large percentage of women under 55.
Political correctness says I am not allowed to make this point, and the bb issue MUST be attributed to racism.

Why Jade and Daniella are so much hated for their mild racist behaviour. I believe they only express their feelings. The fact is that Indians are far more racist, every now and then, even in schools, college and at work place. Comming from the North East India with an Asian (Mongoloid) looks, I’ve been shouted and every other possible irritating manner for my looks, So you b****y Indians are trying to deny that India is free of racism!! I feel a lot better when i was in US and UK for a field trip coz i heard only once people calling me you bl**dy Asian, which is what i heard almost everyday in INDIA. Jermaine is a real sweetheart. Bless him. He was real in the BB house and he stuck by shilpa. He wasnt two faced like the rest of them.
I think Jermaine done him and his whole family proud. Michael Jackson is innocent! Everyone knows it, so don’t even try denying it! I love the Jackson 5 and Michael Jackson!
