Celebrity Big Brother kicks off tomorrow night and Hollywood star, Verne Troyer is rumoured to have signed up as a housemate.

Verne played Mini-Me in the Austin Powers movies and stands at a mere 2 foot 8 inches tall. BB bosses have made an effort to fit the house out so that he can manage on a day to day basis but sources suggest that Verne has also requested a mini staircase with wheels that he can use to reach all areas of the house.

An insider told The Sun: “Verne is tiny, so everything in his own home is decked out so he can use it.

“When he agreed to go into the BB house it was on condition that it was fitted out for him.

“But he knows it can’t all be miniature as there will be ten normal-sized people in there with him.

“So he’s asked for a set of little stairs that he can drag around the house to help him get on to chairs or into bed.”
