Steve Strange has reportedly been signed up for the new series of Celebrity Big Brother.

When the popular reality TV series debuts on Channel 5 next month, insiders tell The Daily Star that the 80′s popstar will be on the lineup, reportedly joining Kerry Katona and her former drug addict mother, Sue.

Steve – real name Steven John Harrington – is best known as the lead singer and frontman of the 1980s pop group Visage. Since the late 1970s he has also been a prominent nightclub host and promoter.

He was last reported to be on the shortlist for CBB back in 2009, when it still aired on Channel 4.

However sources now report that his 2011 talks have concluded and he has agreed to become a housemate in the famous Elstree residence.

Strange has previously starred in Celebrity Scissorhands and BBC drama Ashes To Ashes.
