Celebrity Big Brother launches tonight and for the past day and a half, Channel 5 staff have been busying themselves getting the house ready for it’s new arrivals.

The normal Big Brother series drew to a close on Monday night, with Luke A scooping the crown and the prize fund. Before their departure, Luke, Sara, Adam, Luke S and Deana were treated to an afternoon of music after they agreed to do some cleaning for BB, but since they left even more work has been done in preparing the residence for it’s third group of housemates in less than a year.

The pad has been given a bit of a revamp for the famous faces that will soon move in and one of the most obvious additions to the house, is the new gym.

As the Elstree studio will be packed with models and image obsessed celebrities, BB has provided their very own fitness suite with both cardio and weights based equipment, though no doubt they will have to pass some task in order to use it.

New frosted panels have been fitted in the bathroom, so that the stars can shower in total privacy but they will no longer have the use of a sauna, as it has been removed from the garden space.

Producers have also ordered that the bedroom be painted a new claret colour and have replaced the beds and the floor carpet.

Before the launch tonight, some famous faces have been spotted in and around various hotels in the Elstree area.

On Monday we reported on a great picture of Eastenders star Cheryl Fergison being smuggled into her residence, with a balaclava covering her face. The headwear did little to disguise her identity.

Reported to be on the lineup for the new series of the reality TV show are stars such as Rhian Sugden, Coleen Nolan, Jasmine Lennard, Dog The Bounty Hunter, Julie Goodyear and Geordie Shore star Jay Gardner. Check out the full list of 2012 celebrity housemates here.
