Celebrity Big Brother 2012: Coleen, Lorenzo and Martin debate how to solve a problem like Julie

Julie Goodyear has of course proven to be one of the most controversial Celebrity Big Brother housemates ever, given that she’s sickly sweet one minute, and poisonous the next…

Coleen Nolan spotted it from the get go, but did a 180 over her opinion of Julie after she thought the eviction night crowd were booing her – Coleen – because of what she’d said about Julie in the Diary Room.

But of course, as it’s turned out, everyone in the houseis  now wise to Julie’s antics, and though none of them have as yet openly confronted her about her Jekyll and Hyde game play, there’s a good deal of unrest over it.

However, yesterday – after Julie had been outed by BB for trying to influence nominations – though continually adding the caveat, “She’s lovely, but…” Lorenzo, Martin and Coleen discussed Julie’s behaviour in some depth…

The outcome of their chat was that Julie is presenting something of a dilemma in as much as her fellow housemates’ innate respect for their elders is stopping them from having it out with her face to face, and it’s also – possibly – making them hold off on nominating her.

After all, who wants to be known as the celebrity who upset a 70 year old woman who, in her heyday, was the nation’s sweetheart, revered by all for being a Coronation Street icon?

Well, this was the gist of the chat between Lorenzo, Coleen and Martin, which you can see by clicking here to open the clip in a new window.

And as we saw in last night’s highlights show, Harvey yet again warned Ashley that he mustn’t be suckered in by Julie, or be influenced by her.

Having said that he feels he needs to “avoid her”, Harvey went on to say that he has no desire to sit around bitching about everyone else, and as far as he’s concerned, that’s all “Nanna” Julie does.

So, as mentioned, thus far only Julian has remained in his I’m Switzerland stance with regard to Julie – though I’m sure he’s intelligent enough to know exactly what she’s doing – and of course Mike The Situation has similarly not directly spoken out about Julie, but has hinted to Harvey and Ashley that in order to “keep my boys in the house” he’ll nominate anyone other than their group members.

So with the final nominations for this series looming – and possibly taking place today – will those who’ve now seen Julie for what she really is nominate her?

Or do you think that the housemates might feel too bad about nominating an elderly lady to actually go through with it?

Glad I am not in the house!!!. Julian or Coleen to win. I do feel that ,Prince will date Danika, when he gets out!!, he is truly obsessed with her, and, she might, for once not cheat on him, as so much at stake, like 50 million plus, and, to be a Princess to boot!!!. Julie has shown herself to be not a very nice lady, and, does not give a ….k what anyone thinks of her, maybe this comes with her age????.

I don’t think you’re giving Lorenzo enough credit. If you watched his face.. especially when she had her head in his crotch, it looked (at least to me) a nanosecond away from an eye roll. I think he’s had enough women throw themselves at him due to his station and net value that he would be very aware of WHY someone would behave that way with him. I just think he’s a bit too nice to say it outright or to tell her to cool it. And besides, what man wouldn’t love that kind of attention? It’s flattering even if you do know there may be ulterior motives behind it.
