The Celebrity Big brother nominations continued this evening, just minutes after the first eviction of the series took place.

As the housemates were still reeling from the banishing of Jasmine Lennard, they were informed that they would have to nominate two of their fellow residents each tonight and the process was aired live on Channel 5.

After Julie and Julian cast their votes (see who they picked here), Martin Kemp took the hot seat.

He decided:

My first nomination is based on the fact that there seems to be two sections in the house, the old group and the young group and I will choose one from each. My first will be from the older group and it will be for Coleen,. We had a chat in the smoking area and it was about Sam’s background and I thought she was being slightly unfair to Sam. She was presumptuous that Sam was an awful person because she had written things that Coleen didn’t write.

The Eastenders star added:

The second nomination from the younger group is Rhian. Purely because I don’t know her that well and after the last nominations we said ‘let’s sit down and talk and get to know each other’ but I feel like she avoids me for some reason. I can sit down and talk with everyone else and I can’t with her.

Actress Cheryl Fergison was next and said:

My first nomination is going to be The Situation, because I blow hit and cold and I’m not sure…if I’m not sure I need to nominate. There are so many good things about him but so much is all about him. My gut instinct is that he really doesn’t live in the real world and he certainly doesn’t live in my world and I can’t relate to him.

She continued:

My second nomination is Samantha because I’m not sure about her, she’s a little bit dodgy. I think it’s all too good to be true…it’s all too perfect. I don’t mind her and she’s a brilliant cook….but it’s like the way to everyone’s heart is through food. I think she’s a bit of a control freak. We wouldn’t be fed good meals if she wasn’t here but it’s like we can’t do anything because it’s under someone else’s control. I’m not sure on the outside world that I would have anything in common with her.
