Celebrity Big Brother 2012: Selfish or not? Nicola McLean shreds her fellow housemates’ letters from home (VIDEO)
Nicola McLean was quick to sell out her fellow housemates tonight on Celebrity Big Brother.
The stars were split into two groups for a surprise task and separated into different rooms. They were then told that all their families had written them letters from home, and the letters had been split into two boxes. Each group, controlled the fate of the other groups’ letters and they were given the choice to shred their friends’ letters, if they wanted to receive their own.
Most of the celebrities agreed to wait out the fifteen minutes, rather than shred their fellow housemates’ messages, however Nicola was not so caring. She ranted:
I’d shred theirs for mine, I’m being honest. The girls have not got children and neither does Frankie. People with children should have a letter so that we know our kids are alright.
As Big Brother started the clock and activated the shredders, the WAG added:
I want my letter. I’m happy to press it now, I’m doing it, I want my letter.
Kirk Norcross tried to persuade her not to do it saying:
I can’t do it to Gareth, he wants to speak to his mum so bad.
But the buxom blonde was determined and destroyed them without a second thought. Afterwards she had a bit of a breakdown and wept:
I’m sorry guys, I’m sorry if that seems really mean. I’m sorry.

That was so selfish and she’s only thinking about herself. She must feel really stupid when she found out that the other team were actually caring and thoughtful enough to give up their letters for her. She needs to learn to start thinking about other people and their feelings.
i dont blame her, half the other team didnt have kids and Nicola and others did. her reason for shredding them was valid and if you were in the house not knowing if your kids/family is alright would you want your letter? i would! she said she was sorry but she needed that letter.
She was selfish. I understand why she done it, but the way she handled it was inconsiderate. Her true colours really did show then. She could of had some COMPASSION and waited at least 2 minutes.
Her reason was HALF VALID. Just because she has kids, it doesn’t mean that anyone who doesn’t is less important than the ones that do, or their family letters do not matter. After all no one knows EVERYTHING about all the housemates, and there could be things going on that they wanted to know and be reassured about.
If it was one of her kids in that room, and she wrote a letter, wouldn’t she want them to get theirs? regardless of whether they had kids or not.
Is every1 blind nicola didnt jst do it 2 see if kids were alright she wanted to hearby husbands response because of her tart antics with frankie wk before shes a 2 faced tart####
Despicably selfish woman. I hope her kids don’t inherit any of her traits. They deserve better.
She uses her kids to get credit. “shes a great mother” people keep reminding us…….If you have kids you are supposed to be a great mother…its a norm and not something you deserve extra credit for!!
The other housemates could have had a sick brother or granny….Just because you let some footballer knock you up doesnt make you special.
