Yesterday the results of the Celebrity Big Brother viewers poll was revealed, and Julian Clary once more came out on top, as number one funniest housemate, leaving runners up Cheryl Fergison and The Situation far behind.

One of the scenes that most viewers found funny came during the “home truths” task, where Julian, Julie Goodyear, Coleen Nolan and Samantha Brick had to insult each other. Julian didn’t like it though, telling New Magazine:

“That task was awful. I had to be honest to win and I said the first thing that came into my mind. I could see the hurt in her eyes. She’s lost a stone and a half in the past month and admitted herself she still has a way to go, but I know it’s the worst thing you can say to a woman so if I had my time again I would have said something different.”

He also reveals he is still in touch with his housemates, saying:

“The six finalists said we would all meet up for dinner. Ashley and Harvey are going to come to my London show and Coleen and Julie and Rhian live near Manchester so can come to that one. Although we were all very different, we’ve shared an experience we can never forget and we’ll never forget each other so we’ll always have that connection.”

Only one day to go until Julian has the first of his shows in Brighton. We can’t wait to hear what he will reveal about his Big Brother experience and what he will get up to in general. A cryptic Tweet reading: “Another day dancing the Haka. Its a full life,” has us intrigued.
