This evening Ron Atkinson became the second housemate to be evicted from the Celebrity Big Brother house, just 24 hours after Danielle Marr became the first housemate to be given the boot.
Following on from Wednesday evening’s first eviction, Ron Atkinson and Vicky Entwistle were given the opportunity to put one housemate up for eviction, as a reward for being saved by the public vote. They chose to nominate Louie Spence.
Later that evening, the housemates carried out the first round of nominations in the Diary Room and as a direct result of that, Charlotte Crosby, Courtney Stodden, Lauren Harries and Ron Atkison were nominated to face the public vote this evening along with Louie Spence.
Upon exiting the house this evening Ron Atkinson received quite a good reaction from the crowd!
In his exit interview with Emma, he said: “Relief! I’ve had a different experience than anything else I’ve had in my life, it has been good. I was quite pleased to come out – I’ve done my time”.
“There’s a few that would have swapped with me” he added.
Ron said that there is a lot going on in the house and “boredom is the biggest factor”. He added that he went in with “an open mind” but there’s a lot of down time in the house. However, there is the up time as well such as when Bruce got slapped around the face with the fish.
“I went in with an open mind as I didn’t watch a lot of the show in the past, so I didn’t know what to expect. I’ll be talking about this and a lot will sink in in a few months time” he said when asked about his experience in the house.
Speaking about his nominations, he said: “I think Louie made that judgement before he met me. Lauren, I may have kept her in tonight – I had to have a quiet chat with her. I suggested nominating her earlier in the week and we changed it. I’m glad she’s through, it means an awful lot to her… her lifestyle depends on it in her mind. She gets on your nerves sometimes, she never puts stuff away.”
“They’re just great kids,” he said about Charlotte and Mario – adding about Carol he said “she’s not half got a gob on her”.
On Bruce, he said: “One of the things I love is people with humour. I’m talking about fun, clever, almost clean humour and he has it. Vicky was a part of the gang, she’s great”.
