Celebrity Big Brother 2013: Heidi Montag & Spencer Pratt want to stay in the UK
The American stars who shot to fame on MTV’s The Hills came second in the recent series of CBB, finishing just behind Rylan Clark and it seems the fact that they’ve won fans over in Britain, has made them want to stick around for a little while longer.
In an interview with The Express the self confessed ‘king and queen of reality TV’ revealed that UK TV viewers have made them feel ‘welcome’ and as a result, they won’t be heading home just yet.
“We’re the king and queen of reality TV, we’re sticking around for a long time! We’ve been made to feel so welcome we are not flying back to America any time soon.”
“Spencer and I were ecstatic to come second on Celebrity Big Brother. This is the furthest Americans have ever got so we are really happy everyone was voting for us.”
Speidi didn’t have many good things to say about their fellow housemates during their time on Celebrity Big Brother but Heidi insists that she doesn’t hate all British people in the same way.
The blonde beauty quite likes Kate Middleton and Victoria Beckham and continued:
“We didn’t like the boring British people we were in the house with but since we’ve been out we’ve fallen in love with the country. I want to be posh like Kate Middleton or Victoria Beckham.”
Speidi have become quite the phenomenon since appearing on CBB and very early into the series, they became the ultimate housemates that people loved to hate.
Spencer at least is embracing his stage persona and teased his Twitter followers this week, when he tweeted:
“The haters keep telling me to “go home.” Bad news haters, Krypton was destroyed.”
“Everyone’s always trying to figure out Spencer Pratt. Stop trying – you’ll just hurt yourself.”
“Now that Celebrity Big Brother is over – what should #teamspeidi do next? Besides world domination of course.”
