It’s been reported today that former boxer Evander Holyfield is the bookies’ favourite to be evicted tonight in the first real eviction of the series.
He faces the boot alongside model Jasmine Waltz, comedian Jim Davidson, journalist Liz Jones and former The Apprentice candidate, Luisa Zissman.
However, Evander is said to be the favourite to go because of his “gay aint normal” remarks, given that many viewers believe he should have been booted from the house at the time.
But it seems he’s unaware of the hoohar his remarks – which occurred during a conversation with Luisa – caused, and recently told his housemates, “I came here to win.”
The Daily Star reports that in the first of this year’s nominations, which took place soon after Casey Batchelor and Lee Ryan were sent to Big Brother’s Bolt Hole – of which the other housemates are oblivious – Liz and Jim got five nominations each, whilc Luisa got three and Jasmine and Evander got two.
Here’s what the paper says each of the housemates stated as their reasons for their nominations:
Liz (“She doesn’t make an effort”)
Evander (“He doesn’t cook or clean”)
Jim (“He makes snide remarks”)
Liz (“She’s difficult to get to know”)
Luisa (“She is bossy”)
Evander (“We argued over animal rights”)
Jas (“She has stirred things”)
Ollie (“He is my biggest threat”)
Luisa (“She is bitchy”)
Jim (“He upset Linda”)
Dappy (“He is boring and pointless”)
Jim (“He doesn’t want to be here”)
Luisa (“She’s argumentative”)
Liz (“She wants to go home”)
Jas (“Her screaming and shouting annoys me”)
Jim (“He likes to be in charge”)
Linda (“I don’t like her”)
Liz (“I feel I need to be nice to her all the time”)
Jim (“We’ve had rows”)
Liz (“She doesn’t engage in conversations”)
Whichever housemate receives the lowest number of public votes will leave tonight in a live show which airs from 9pm on Channel 5.
