The twists have begun and tonight Big Brother asked the housemates to choose eight housemates to move to the squalor of the house next door, while three would remain in the lap of luxury.

The housemates voted for Ken Russell, Jermaine Jackson and Shilpa Shetty to remain in the main house, though Shilpa was only chosen for her cooking skills. So that means that Donny Tourette, Jo O’Meara, Ian H Watkins, Danielle Lloyd, Carole Malone, Cleo Rocos, Leo Sayer and Dirk Benedict have been moved to the servant quarters.

The next big surprise will be when Jade Goody and her Mum, Grandmother and boyfriend join the chosen three in the main house and the other eight have to work as their servants. Though the public might be surprised by who has the better time. I remember clearly from an earlier series of Big Brother when the house was divided on a rich/poor basis, the poor people with no food or luxuries ended up having the most fun and bonding extremely well. I think the people who decided to stay in the main house will end up regretting their decision…by the looks of her tears tonight it seems as though Shilpa already does!
