Alex Reid and Chantelle Houghton are reportedly set to follow in the footsteps of Katie Price and Peter Andre and star in a reality TV show about their life.

The newly engaged couple are expecting their first child together and plan to get married in 2013 and insiders say they plan to fund the lavish event, by starring in their own fly on the wall documentary series.

Cameras will follow the pair as they prepare for the birth of their baby and begin organising their nuptials and rights to the TV show will be pitched to TV bosses in the new year.

Alex of course has experience of this sort of invasive TV coverage, having starred in his ex-wife Katie Price’s series before they split last year.

Both stars also shot to fame when they won Channel 4′s Celebrity Big Brother, so the intrusive camera presence will seem more normal to them than most.
