Celebrity Big Brother housemate Alex Reid has been bigging up his girlfriend Katie Price today.

Possibly sensing that ‘Pricey’ isn’t best pleased with all the revelations he has made, Alex described her to his fellow housemates as a national ‘phenomena’.

“It’s unreal. She’s a phenomena in this country.

“You go to some of her book signings and there’s like 800, 900 people waiting for her. It’s absolutely crazy.

“She’s had a pop career. She was trying to do a bit of acting. She just went up for Sex And The City 2, but she’s not focused on it and it’s not really what her heart is in.”

He added: “I think she could be quite a good actress if she had the right part.”
