Celebrity Big Brother housemate Alex Reid has admitted that he didn’t expect to make it to the final five on the show.

During a chat with Vinnie and Dane, Alex admitted:

“I thought I’d get two weeks, because I thought that’s when the minimum we can go [is].”

“I thought the same,” replied Dane. “Two, two-and-a-half weeks.”

Vinnie then asked Alex if his girlfriend Katie Price was planning to watch the show, adding:

“Do you think someone will be proud of you, Al?” asked Vinnie.

Alex said it would depend on how well he does in the next two days.

“Well… you’re in the final,” said Vinnie, while Dane added: “Yeah! Something must be going right, mate.”

“If you got the most boos, you reckon, as soon as the public got a vote you should have been out,” added Vinnie.

“You’ve definitely changed something,” concluded Dane.
