Celebrity Big Brother housemate Dane Bowers, has insisted that he wants to be friends with cage fighter, Alex Reid.

Alex is reported to have punched Dane in the face at Katie Price’s New Year’s Ever party last week. However the pair and their agents are now denying that the incident ever took place. Too bad about the huge brusie on Dane’s face!

In a bid to smooth things over and save his appearance fee, Dane is now claiming that the pair are building a friendship in the house.

In a visit to the Diary Room he told Big Brother: “He makes it easy as well because he’s cool about it. We know what it is and it doesn’t bother us.

“I hope he feels the same way, which is that we can get on and grow to be friends, which I don’t remotely see the problem with.”
