Celebrity Big Brother: Denise Welch having sex with toyboy Lincoln Townley behind husband Tim Healy’s back?
Denise Welch stole the heart of the British public when she appeared in Celebrity Big Brother and she won the series as it drew to a close on Friday night. However, we can’t help but wonder if the public would have been so supportive if they had heard the rumours that the 53 year old actress has been having an affair behind her husband’s back.
Insiders have told The Mirror today that the Loose Women star has been meeting and sleeping with party organiser Lincoln Townley, 39, for the last eight months, usually in the afternoons when she is finished work on her ITV chat show.
A source told the newspaper that despite recently claiming to be closer to her husband than ever, Denise was actually planning to leave the chubby star when she finished on the Channel 5 reality TV show and a friend of her rumoured boyfriend insisted:
“She told Lincoln she loved him and she was going to announce she was separating from Tim after Celebrity Big Brother. It has got to the point where she wants to stop living a lie.”
They added:
“Lincoln said they have a great time together, the age difference doesn’t matter. She is a party girl, without doubt. He loves being with her because she’s such great fun.”
The pair are said to have been secretly dating since they met at an event last April and although they did occasionally stay at his home, it has been claimed that they usually rendezvoused at her suite in the Marriott Hotel County Hall.
Lincoln’s friend said that while it started on a very casual basis and was all about having fun and blowing off some steam, over the last few months things have become more serious, with Denise offering to leave Tim for her new man.
It’s not exactly new behaviour for Denise either, as back in 2004 she nearly destroyed her marriage after having an affair with carpenter Steve Murray. At the time she and Tim almost headed for the divorce court, before he finally forgave her.
Michael Madsen has added flames to the fire this week, when he claimed that during their time in the Celebrity Big Brother house, Denise also offered to have sex with him.

I feel sorry for Tim Healy, we only have Welch’s word that they have an open marriage – I doubt he has a say, he needs to divorce this s****er and meet someone who’ll treat him with respect, poor man.

I agree with both previous comments. It was obvious she had a crush on Michael and it really pissed her off that he wasnt interested.
You have to hand it to her, she is brilliant at always playing the victim. Even after she exposed one of the twins bums (f**k if I know which), even that seemed to end up with her as the victim.
