Today’s Celebrity Big Brother task was designed to measure the ego’s of our famous housemates.

For one night only the CBB housemates were to appear in the closing credits of the show, one housemate would receive a ‘starring’ credit, two would receive a ‘co-starring’ credit, two would receive a ‘featuring’ credit, three housemates would receive an ‘extras’ credit and three lonely housemates would receive no credit at all. In just fifteen minutes the housemates had to decide who got which status but unknown to them, Head Of House Terry Christian was watching the group the whole time and assessing who had the biggest ego. The person chosen by Terry would automatically face eviction this Friday.

So the task is announced and Michelle Heaton quickly declares, “I’ll be an extra” a line quickly repeated by Mutya Buena and Tina Malone. They obviously wanted people to think that they were very modest and not chasing the larger ’starring’ roles. However my first thought was that they would rather be recognised and honoured in some small tiny way than be left out at all. It’s exactly the same when Michelle Heaton repeatedly flashes her bits or falls down drunk for the paparazzi, she would rather be in a magazine looking ridiculous than be ignored due to her lack of any real talent.

Terry Christian is then called to the Diary Room and I am thinking that either Michelle or Tina (who was mightily pissed off when they decided to work on an alphabetical basis leaving her out altogether) would be nominated. But surprisingly Terry sticks the boot into Ulrika Jonsson because she sat back quietly and didn’t put herself forward for any role……WTF????

Terry read Ulrika’s reluctance to toot her own trumpet as an air of aloofness and a feeling that she was too good for the task. I would have called it humility or modesty but certainly not an indication of an over inflated ego.
