After watching Jo O’Meara’s interview on GMTV yesterday morning, The Duchess Of York, Sarah Ferguson asked her spokeswoman to phone the show and ask people to leave Jo O’Meara alone.
The Duchess said: “I didn’t watch the show and I don’t condone anything that was said or done. But I know what it’s like to be vilified. I’ve made mistakes.
“I watched her on television this morning and I saw this girl who was broken. All I’m saying is, it’s time to remove her from the stocks. Now it should stop.�
Presenter Fiona Phillips told viewers: “Sarah, the Duchess, is watching this morning. She is very upset by the Jo interview.
“She says she knows what it is like to be vilified and misrepresented and has a lot of sympathy for Jo.�
I wonder would she have been so understanding if she had seen the evil expiring from Jo whilst in the Big Brother house?

Can the Duchess of york put some of that humanity my way or is it only “tears” pouring down a white face, that tugs at her heart strings.
Did she see the state of Shabbaz , why doesnt she intervene and take the programme off.
Having sympathy and intervening for people who remind you of yourself is an example of “racism”. This is what the Big Brother producers do so well, surely no-one needs to help them.
Are people trying to tell me that Jo has been the worst treated person on Big Brother ever , well the duchess thinks that she should head over to the forum and see what happened to me on the show.
The Fxxkers practically killed me and I had to face a murderous media all by myself.
Jo wasn’t shaking out of shock , she swallowed her own venom and was feeling the effects. I know if I was in shilpa’s place JO would have done exactly the same to me, so I would be a fool to have sympathy for her, when she wouldnt return the same emotion.
But its not nice to have people hate you, but at least they give her a chance to speak , dont they !

If Jo has been misrepresented she should go to OFCOM, she has more support than I did. I still got OFCOM ( we love BB secretly) to entertain a complaint against the BB producers.
Even though it will be resolved, when most of the people involved have passed away ( 2010), it still is a complaint lodged.

People of Britain move on with your lives. Stop this ridiculous witch hunt, we are all human beings we make mistakes. Forgive and forget. Shilpa came on top in the end, she had the last laugh. These celebs careers and lives have been destroyed, enough!!
How can their lives be destroyed the programme only ended last week. some people don’t half jump the gun.
I dont think the subject of racism is anything to laugh about. There are also millions of Jo ’s in the UK , but only one Shilpa. It wont be so easy for ordinary people who are victims of “genuine” racism to move on with their lives.
It is a irrational big fuss about nothing.
JO is also guilty of milking it herself. She has claimed bad editing on the programme has misled folks , but has no complaint with the person who has edited her. That is not logical reasoning.
I think JO is playing a professional “victim without a cause” and if the public moved on with their lives and forgot her she wouldnt have one.
One seeks redress by returning to the source, not bleating about various issues, that she can easily resolve, like a friggin “matyr without a cause”.
