Frankie Cocozza was more than a little upset last night, when he found out how Nicola Mclean had behaved in the most recent Celebrity Big Brother task.

The X Factor star was angry with the WAG, after discovering that she didn’t hesitate – even for a second – about shredding half of the housemates’ letters from home, just so she and the other half of the group could read theirs.

As soon as the former glamour model had heard what the task was from Big brother, she told her friends that she wouldn’t think twice about destroying Frankie, Denise, the twins and Gareth’s messages, saying:

I’d shred theirs for mine, I’m being honest. The girls have not got children and neither does Frankie.

Speaking about the incident later in the hot tub, Kirk Norcross admitted that he was delighted to have received a letter from his dad but insisted:

I wouldn’t have pressed the button.

Frankie then admitted that he was cross with Nicola for her actions and explained:

I wasn’t going to say anything tonight, but I will say that you can’t do that. You can’t not think of other housemates who were meant to be your friends. in that situation and do it straight away.

It’s not the fact that you pressed before us, because we weren’t going to press it. But if you’d waited until two minutes to go and thought ‘oh f*ck it, I need that letter.’ But she didn’t even take time to worry about what we were thinking.

There was one silver lining to the whole task though, Kirk admitted that he had never before been told that he had made his dad proud. He smiled and told Cocozza:

It sounds weird but I have waited 23 years to hear my dad say he’s proud of me and he said it man.
