Jade Goody’s agent has made a statement today, in which he says that Jade Goody is receiving treatment for depression and also that she is now at the mercy of a bully…The British press.

In a statement, Mr Noel said: ‘Jade is completely distraught and is receiving medical attention for shock and depression.

‘Jade has had the courage to say sorry, to face her critics and to try to make amends… but certain factions in the media will not be happy without blood. Aren’t they doing to Jade what Jade is accused of doing?’

I think its time to let go people. Let Jade get on with her life. You don’t have to buy her perfume or dvds, you don’t have to buy magazines that feature an interview with her. No one is saying that we must forget what happened and welcome Jade back into our hearts. But I believe that the press should stop hounding Jade. We should all move on and enjoy the final week of Celebrity Big Brother. Let Jade alone and hopefully she will disappear into obscurity without all the media hype.
