Celebrity Big Brother: Julian Clary bonds with The Situation (does he really have a crush on him?) as he wins #CBB ballet task, gets more chatty and teaches the housemates how to dance
Last night’s hug showed the start of a new dawn in the relationship of Celebrity Big Brother’s Julian Clary and Mike The Situation.
After a day of talking and bonding (which we hopefully see bits of tonight) the duo are now acting like a married couple. This morning the Situation even treated a delighted Julian to scrambled eggs, while Julian cooked him lunch.
This sudden twist in their relationship gives more fuel to the rumours that Julian Clary might have a crush on Michael, which we discussed last week. Former BB housemate Luke Marsden tweeted:
“I think Julian has a crush on The Situation…#cbb”
Follower Joanne Hills added:
“Glad its not just me who thought that, giving him nicknames 2. Naw…”
These comments led to a big discussion about whether Julian fancied Sitch or not. Julian certainly seemed moved by their hug in the garden, something a lot of viewers commented on…. we hope it will last.
Meanwhile the comedian seems to be interacting with his housemates more this week, and enjoyed intense bonding sessions with the males yesterday, explaining who he is and why he had trouble socialising until now.
While giving dance lessons to Coleen earlier in the week (sadly not shown in the highlights,) last night he gave ballet lessons to non other than the Prince, as Lorenzo wanted in on the dance class following Julian and Martin Kemp’s ballet challenge triumph.
For the challenge the male housemates were split into pairs and had to choreograph an original ballet routine. Each routine had to incorporate a number of traditional ballet moves, but each ballet also had to be themed around the title of the dance.
The titles were statements or comments made by housemates during their time in the Big Brother house.
Julian and Martin performed the dance, “You Should Have Felt The Impact Of That Pie In My Fucking Face And I Would Never Do That. She Nearly Knocked My Front Teeth Out,” to “Waltz of the Flowers” from The Nutcracker.
The girls formed a panel of judges, who critiqued and scored each performance. The girls spend most of the day cooing round Julian as he brightened up and enchanted them with his dancing skills.
The girls were immediately delighted by Julian and Martin and the two were rewarded last night along with the judges with a classical party. A moved Julian told his housemates he “always wanted to be a ballet dancer.”
Julian naturally took care of the girls’ make up before the party, taking a long time to make Julie up to perfection. He was even tempted to a dance with Danica, but she wasn’t up to scratch and said “it’s like dancing with a shopping trolley.”
Following the party Julian was rolling around the floor of the bedroom, as you do.
He’s really coming into himself isn’t he? Leave your comments below…

LOVE Julian soooo much – he’s definitely either holding back or we’re not seeing his quips in the edits. Can’t wait to catch him on his autumn tour where he’ll be looking for a husband! Apparently he’ll be wearing leather!! Then he’ll be starring in panto for Christmas.
More Julian please – Julian to WIN!!
