New Celebrity Big Brother housemate Nicola T is reportedly hoping to be as big as Katie Price by the time she leaves the BB house.

The former glamour model, turned WAG and reality TV star is even planning to get close to Katie’s boyfriend Alex Reid during her time on the show.

A source told The Daily Star: “Nicola’s been in the showbiz wilderness for a while now.

“But she’s got the chance to show the nation what she’s all about and she’s ready to grab the opportunity with both hands. Nicola is not stupid – she knows that to raise her profile she’s going to have to make headlines in the house and getting friendly with Alex is the perfect way.

“Nothing will happen with him because she’s got a boyfriend, but she hopes she can ruffle a few feathers anyway.”

The source added: “Nicola reckons she’s got several advantages over Kate.

“She’s younger, she’s more of a natural beauty and she’s on mainstream TV, not tucked away on a digital channel. This really is her big chance.

“Kate has seen off numerous contenders, but she can’t stay on top for ever.”
