The daughter of Celebrity Big Brother’s Stephanie Beacham has admitted that her mum saved her from a drug addiction that was sure to kill her, if it continued.

Phoebe, 35 revealed that her mum has spent thousands of pounds on therapy and police bail in a bid to keep her on the straight and narrow. After a failed suicide attempt last year, Stephanie swooped in to help her daughter, who now says that she owes her mum her life.

Speaking to The Sunday Mirror Phoebe said:

“My mother saved my life. If it wasn’t for her, I wouldn’t be here today. I owe her so much. I was a total wild child, but mum has always been there.

“She has spent literally thousands of pounds of her hard-earned money getting me out of all kinds of scrapes.”

“I’ve been totally clean for a year and now the doctors have discovered the right medication it has totally changed my life. I feel so well.”
