Celebrity Big Brother presenter Davina McCall has admitted that she still goes to Alcoholics Anonymous meetings.

McCall admits that she had problems with drink and drugs in her 20s but says that she still struggles to stay away from alcohol.

Davina told Stylist magazine: “I have to be vigilant. Not so much the drugs but the alcohol. I’ve missed drinking rose wine on holiday but I do still go to Alcoholics Anonymous meetings and I like it. That does help keep a lid on it a bit.”

On how else she fills her time Davina added: “I have a million hobbies that I want to do but no time to actually do them. This is how sad I am – I want to learn how to knit a jumper. I want to do tapestry and make cushions.

“I’d also love to do some kind of book club. I like reading and love it when other people introduce me to a book I haven’t thought of reading.”
