As fans of former Big Brother stars Chantelle Houghton and Alex Reid will know, the couple welcomed their baby girl into the world a month ago, and it seems they just couldn’t decide on a name for the new addition…

However, Chantelle has revealed – via her column in new! magazine – that she and Alex have finally given the baby girl a name, and it’s Dolly.

Chantelle wrote, “It’s actually the original name Alex and I liked in the very beginning and we’ve gone back to it.”

And it seems little Dolly really is a little doll, because despite being only four weeks old, she’s behaving well for her mum and dad.

Chantelle reported, “The baby seems to be sleeping a bit better than she was last week, so I’m hoping that was just a blip…

“She’s sleeping for around five and a half hours at a time. I’m aiming for her to be going through the night by the time she’s six weeks old.

“It’s not impossible in our family – my cousin went through the night at three weeks!”

So now that baby Houghton-Reid has a Christian name, what do we think of it?

I have to say, I was expecting something rather spectacular, given the time it’s taken to choose the baby’s name!
